My friends and I were desperate for a beach trip during this one super long weekend but everywhere we inquired was full or with rooms that were too expensive. Luckily we found All Hands Beach in Subic (just 1 hour from Manila) that had tents we could rent and some rooms that were gonna be free in the next days so we agreed to take it. All Hands is a pretty small resort and one of the more affordable ones in the area. It has a bunch of room accommodations but it has even more nipa huts on the beach for the many more daytrippers who go here. It's that kind of beach where you just go for a bit of water, a bit of lying in the sand, and just simple hanging out by the "presko" huts all around. You can even bring your own food and cook it in the grill station for free. There's also a beach bar right in the middle of everything where you can grab softdrinks, beer, and snacks. There's a decent restaurant that serves pretty affordable meals-- not at resort prices. The common bathroom/shower room is much better than expected!
I loved the service as well because even if we were just in tents, the staff were all equally accommodating (we didn't want to move to a room anymore after the first night because it was actually comfortable). By the end of the 4 days, most of them knew who we were because we stayed the longest of the whole long weekend crowd! This really nice older senior staff dude also looked out for us and our things the whole time. He said he was worried since we were all girls and we were staying out there, hahaha! It wasn't creepy at all though! He was sincere and respectful. In fact everyone on the resort was, from reception to dining to maintenance. Even the water sports guys. Pretty okay place to go to! Best fit for those who like going to beaches on a whim, hahaha. read more
