We had a new HVAC system installed by Grande Aire a couple of weeks ago. The job was well done by a team of professionals and we were very pleased. However, after a couple of weeks the cooling performance fell off and I called to ask to have the system checked. Kevin from the Englewood team arrived a couple of hours later, explained what we could do to make the system work better and then checked out the operating parameters. He determined that while it was working, it wasn't up to spec and went looking for the problem. He found a fitting that had vibrated loose enough to allow a slow coolant leak so he called for more coolant. A few minutes later, Mason arrived and the two of them tightened the fitting, recharged the system and then stayed past 6:00PM to be sure the system was working properly. The total charge for the service call, the coolant and the time was zero. Just an assurance from both men that Grande Aire is committed to our satisfaction. We a BIG fans!! read more

We are so impressed by Grande Aire's response. When we identified a humidity issue, they came right over even though it was after hours. Our issue was referred to Robert, who texted and emailed immediately. He then came over to assess our issue, spent time answering our questions and within an hour he gave us an estimate to resolve our issue. We were blown away. Purchased new Trane system 2 years ago from Grande Aire. The air handler severely leaked within a few months due to improper installation. The condenser broke with 14 months and it took over a month to finally repair. Grande Aire charged for coolant. Finally gave a refund after several attempts. System broke again and Grande Aire charged $550 for coolant this time. Extremely poor service! read more

We just had our first maintenance inspection with Haines/Grand Aire Services and the gentleman; Trevor #5323 was just excellent. As I mentioned this was our first time so I asked Trevor if I can watch and ask questions as he went along with his work and he said of course. I won't mention the other company we had before, but we never had such a thorough inspection like this one. Trevor explained everything he was doing step by step and when he wrote out he report, everything he did was on it and he explained each item to me which was never done with the other company we had. That is all I can say is Trevor is definitely an asset to the company and a keeper. read more

Getting ready for Hurricane season , I called Grande Aire to look at my generator that was not turning on after power outages. I had another company come look at it prior to them that did an oil change and said it was working properly but it never started again during any short term power outage. Grande Aire Technician Jeff took the time to explain to me why the generator was not really working although he could get to kick on for a minute as the other technician did to make me feel he fixed it properly but it was really shot. I was glad to know that I really needed it replaced and was able to get a new one ordered. Thank you for Jeff who also worked in the hot sun for hours so he would know there were no other options but to replace it. Thank you for great service! read more

Grand Aire installed the heat pump in our house a little over six years ago. They billed us for a 3 ton unit which was what was specified by an independent assessment. They show, in their records, that we have a 3 ton unit. We have complained at each service visit that the unit can hardly keep up in the summer and has to run 22 + hours a day. We called another hvac company that was highly recommended by neighbors and he pointed out to us that we had a 2 1/2 ton unit. We confirmed this with the serial number by calling the manufacturer. I've called once and emailed twice with this info and Grand Aire will not respond. Have given them 10+ days to simply return a call or email but no response! So - bill me for 3 ton and install 2 1/2 ton. Is this the company that you can trust? read more

We have a service contract with them for a rental property on the island and they have helped us in many situations, even late in the day, on weekends and just recently on Easter Sunday. We have two very old AC units in our home. No idea who installed them years ago but for 8+ years we've had a maintenance contract with Grande Aire. Absolutely stellar service! They've sent out repair people promptly and without question whenever needed, whether at night or in the midst of a hurricane. Staff are knowledgeable, conscientious and tidy. Grande Aire sent a technician Alex to our home for our annual maintainence on our AC. We had noticed that our thermostat was hard to change, so he looked at that too and it was determined that we needed a new one. He put a new one in, and cleaned sanitized lines and equipment and put anti algae tablets in our drain system. He worked very hard and was actually here for over 2 hours! He was respectful and pleasant and we feel he went over and above with his service. The prices were fair and we were over all pleased. We would recommend this company to everyone and kudos to Alex for a job well done! read more

BEWARE! If you call for emergency call a c out expect to pay 10 times the amount for parts had them replace a start capacitor that took 15 min to replace if that that cost me 186.00 ouch 4 years before same part 36.00 the service guy justify this saying it's the biggest one they have Amazon sells same part 18.00 but at least they showed up,never again untrustworthy lost me as a customer of 7 years. read more
