She truly made our dreams come alive and offered so many special details to create incredible events. My husband and my wedding is still heralded as the wedding to end all weddings and Kimmy and Sensation truly ensured we earned that title. From the brilliant idea of singing us off the altar once our vows were done to the tune of "Everlasting Love" complete with the horn section refrain (it was AWESOME!) to learning our so many of our favorite songs and incorporating them into their already extremely impressive play list, Kimmy guaranteed our night was personal, beautiful, and special. She even kept my dad, notorious for being in bed by 8:30pm, on the dance floor well past 11pm. Other special moments? A sing along to This American Pie, one of my family anthems, the band on the floor joining the fun, endless rolling music, they are non-stop! In the hectic moments of planning a wedding (and other huge events) each call with Kimmy was simply exciting and truly joyous in the adventure to design and create a magical evening. Thank you Kimmy. You and your crew are AMAZING!

He was the DJ at our August 2013 wedding and I couldn't be happier. The reason our night was as amazing as it turned out was in a large part due to Dennis. He is an incredible emcee and the night flowed so smoothly. There was never a dull moment. The thing that impressed me the most is that when my husband and I finally sat down at our sweetheart table he asked if he could get us a drink. SERIOUSLY?! Come on guys, that is rare and just seriously amazing. I had a few unique requests that didn't even phase Dennis! The most important to me was meshing two very different songs for my father/daughter dance. I wanted to dance to one song, more of a pop-type with my biological father and to a country song with my step dad, not an easy thing to mash-up! I also wanted the two to fade into each other and be cut down so the dance wouldn't be two full songs. The final product blew my mind, it was perfect. He even slowed down the country song so that it was more "danceable." The way he invited my step-dad out to the floor was classy and casual, it wasn't an awkward moment which was what I was concerned about. He absolutely did EXACTLY what I asked for. I got countless comments on the way the evening flowed. With Dennis you get way more than a DJ, he is an amazing emcee. So many people told me it was the most fun wedding they'd ever been to. The music was SPOT on all night, it was a blast. The dance floor was constantly packed and even my older relatives were out there dancing because the music didn't alienate them. My husband and I told Dennis all we wanted was for people to have fun and dance, and they did all night. He found a way to satisfy everyone's music tastes (even though I like country, my husband likes reggae and my parents like classic rock!). Last minute we sprung for some up-lighting. It isn't my style to go outlandish and I was worried it would be too expensive, but I wanted the room to have a little something extra. Not only was the pricing totally reasonable, but Dennis actually made us a custom light color to match our accent color in the table linens. The room was bathed in a soft glow and looked absolutely perfect. He goes so far above and beyond what you'd expect from a run-of-the-mill DJ, and that's simply because he isn't one! (I don't think I'm being biased but) our wedding was hands down the most fun event I've ever been to and I think a large part of that is because of Dennis. He made us so comfortable and the night flowed perfectly because of his emcee talents. Do yourself a favor and stop looking for a DJ and book Dennis. You won't get one of those cheesy wanna-be comics trying to steal the stage from the couple. What you get is a truly professional DJ and emcee who REALLY knows his stuff (seriously just ask him for music suggestions and prepare to have your mind blown!).

We instantly liked his personality and he sounded like he knew his stuff. When we got home, we checked out his website, and I could tell my husband really liked the stuff he saw. We ended up scheduling an appointment with him to talk more details and to decide whether we would book him for our wedding in May. He was prompt, had sample music for us, and had great suggestions for music for the ceremony and the reception. I loved that he was so professional and organized and even had a wedding worksheet for us to fill out as homework to guide both him and us for what music should be played and how the night would be played out. We hired him and we are happy that we did. DJ Dennis is a REAL DJ. Not just one that plays a playlist from an iPod. We had a chance to see him spin during the dancing hour, and it was fun for us and our guests to watch. He had a great feel for crowd and had everyone dancing, young (6 years old) and old (80 years old)!!!
