I did not see a diaper station in the ladies room but am told there is one in the men's room. There is also a family rest room. Water fountains are inside and vending machines are outside the building under a sheltered area. A paved pathway circles the building and lead to picnic tables and benches. Most picnic tables are in full sun. We saw one in the shade (4pm in July) and one ADA picnic table-a handicap sign is next to that table, behind the building. A large sculpture is located in the far right corner of the property by a man made pond. Plenty of parking for all types of vehicles with permit spots near the entrance.

IDOT had been known to close the buildings randomly throughout the year and frequently during cold weather (possibly because they're jerks but we can't be sure) please check the IDOT website or FB if this sort of thing is important to your travels and have a lovely trip :-)

I leave this review through the eyes of someone on a middle class budget. We paid about $98 for one night in the King suite with a jacuzzi tub. The staff were phenomenal; treated us like family. That's probably going to be the best thing I have to say about our stay. Unfortunately, the room had a sort of mildew smell that we were able to cover up with some air freshener; I'm assuming this was from the years worth of guests utilizing the jacuzzi tub (we chose not to try the tub). Shower pressure was great. Beds were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was fine, nothing special but we didn't leave hungry, no eggs that I saw. For what we needed, it was the best option I believe. If I could have afforded another $50 on an upgraded hotel, I'd probably spend it. These guys were truly phenomenal- they asked if there were any requests or accommodations we had and I jokingly asked them to wish my wife a happy belated birthday and they got her a birthday card for when we arrived. Great place to stay if you're on a budget but if I would stay away from the jacuzzi rooms.

I look forward to staying at the New Victorian Inn the next time that I am in Kearney.
