I've been here several times for hair and keep coming back…read more Clean establishment, not cluttered inside like so many other salons. The stylists are friendly and will give you their kindly honest feedback regarding the chosen style/cut/color - but ONLY if you ask for it. :) Cut Color Style Wax - Eyebrows, face Tanning - Two beds Nails Two restrooms available I have not had them do color for me - I went elsewhere to a friend's salon for that when I used to have that done. Drawback: The take only cash or check. Good for their bottom line, but bad for anyone who forgot to throw their checkbook in their purse! IMHO: Call ahead, expect friendly and highly competent service, and don't forget cash/check payment.

I love these ladies!…read more Shelly did the most amazing job with my mess of a mop one might call hair. Thin and curly with weird parts and straight ends, its unruly. for the cut, she needed very little instruction, I just roughly told her what I liked and didn't like about my hair and she did her thing and made my mess beautiful and healthy looking again. For the color, I simply showed her a picture of what I wanted and I got it, but better than I expected it to come out. The best part is the price: $50, including a generous tip, for a cut and color that would've cost me $200 in the cities. Its even worth it to make the drive to Hinckley. It works out nicely for me because I have a friend that lives there, but hey, make a day of it and spend some time at the Casino after being beautified by the ladies at Pat's Hair Design. One item to note, this business is located in a house, so don't look for a storefront, find the address or use your GPS. Oh, and don't park anyone in the driveway, you never know when they will need to leave. Plenty of street parking available for this small town salon. If any of you ladies ever want to car pool up there, you just let me know. So pleased! Actually, one more thing, they only take checks or cash, so plan accordingly.
