An afternoon of solo wandering before heading to Amelie-les-Bains and the Gorges des Fous called for a coffee and treat for fuel. A grande crème and some ice cream (the Cafe gourmand wasn't available) arrived swiftly and my afternoon pick-me-up did the trick. The location delights, looking out on the busy main drag lined with plane trees. read more
