She inserts needles from your head to your feet and everywhere in between. Some of those needles are attached to electrical current, other needles are surrounded by the heat of burning moxa. Dr. Cha makes sure to pop in every few minutes to make sure all is well, to adjust the level of current and/or help scratch that odd itch on the corner of your nose that you can't reach because, well, you're hooked up to electrodes connected to the needles in your face and your arms, plus there are multiple small moxa fires burning on your belly which already shift when you breathe too deeply- don't even think about sneezing. I always come away rejuvenated and refreshed. Totally worth the drive from the city to be treated by this excellent practitioner.

My wife and I use her services, and despite me not really understanding how acupuncture works despite my years in healthcare analytics and analysis, we've had multiple experiences of demonstrable benefit to ourselves and others of good outcomes. If you'd like to hear more about acupuncture, or have been given a recommendation to try this, and leave near Oradell NJ / Bergen County, I'd suggest a consultation with Dr. Jin. Originally I was going in to help support with the procedure but to my surprise we got pregnant naturally a little under two months of sessions! We now have a happy, healthy 5-month-old, and I truly believe acupuncture played a huge role in our fertility journey. I continued seeing Lauren later in my pregnancy when our baby was in a breech position. It was a stressful time, but with consistent acupuncture and a few weeks of moxibustion, our baby turned out of breech before delivery. Lauren is knowledgeable, calming, and so supportive. I'm so grateful for her and the care at Two Rivers.
