I highly recommend GranBrazil! The process beginning to end was fabulous! We stopped into the showroom with a vision & a sketch with a rough idea of measurements. The staff took time with us to understand our needs, give information about the different products & help us determine the best direction. We then spent an hour in the yard looking at slabs. No rush, no pressure. They translated our sketch into a drawing & we scheduled for measurements. They clearly communicated the quote, timeline & plan. Delivery/install day was bitter cold & snow yet they communicated, confirmed, and showed up on time & prepared! What a beautiful transformation & fun & exciting process! The first time they installed our quartz countertops the measurements were correct but the quartz was damaged. Over week later they installed the new quartz but the counter measurements were off. I complained. They came back to fix the problem and shifted the counter to wall so there wouldn't be a huge gap between the counter and the wall but then the farmhouse sink and faucet hole were off centered from my window. There was also a one inch gap between the stove and the counter. I complained in the store to the owner and he was not very nice., I tried to show pictures of the mistakes and that's when he told me they were absolutely not recutting the counter and I could sue him. I told him if they can't fix it, they could come remove it and give me a refund and he said ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! He then agreed to send someone back out to see if they could fix the problem. The next day a really nice older gentleman came and spent over 2 hours trying to align the sink, faucet hole and the 1 inch gap between my countertop and the stove. It looked better then how the first guys left it. The counter is still off. The right side of the stove the counter sticks out 1 inch further than the left side of the stove counter. I plan on tiling the backsplash but on one wall the gap is so big that I'm going have to use backer board before I can tile. I was told that they are not recutting a new countertop. The owner said it's common to have huge gaps between the wall and the counter and so was using backer board to correct it. I printed pictures again of all the irregular measurements and huge gaps that I could literally stick my fingers down behind the quartz and the wall and he could care less. I paid $6000 for countertops and I am highly disappointed with the installation and the end results. The last thing the owner said to me was "NEVER COME IN THIS STORE AGAIN" It's sad that they had to come to my house 6 times and my counters are not perfect or even close to being perfect. Now I'm left trying to figure out how to work with what I got which is definitely not what I paid for. I was trying to support a local business but in the end I used a company that doesn't back their workmanship. Very sad and disappointing to say the least. read more

As a local business owner, wanted to support a local business owner during my recent kitchen remodel. I selected Granbrazil to do my countertops. To be honest, the beginning process went just fine. speaking to the person helping us out, selecting or countertop, scheduling time to measure and then install. after selection, I was presented with an invoice describing measurements, installation cost, INCLUDING a backsplash if needed. paying in advance was required so when I went back to pay, they gave me a copy of the invoice, which I assumed was the same as the original. I scanned it and signed it and paid the invoice, prior to installation. the installation crew came and did a great job. counter looked great. After it was installed, we decided that the backsplash was needed and told the installation crew. They said this was east straight cuts on a slab that probably didn't have much usefulness left in it and the proceeded to measure. I then get ANOTHER INVOICE for an additional (approximately $1700) for this backsplash, which was originally included in the quote! I called and asked what had changed. The rude woman on the phone pointed out that the quote that I signed now stated. that the backsplash was NOT included! They actually changed it from the original! I was so surprised that they had used such deceptive practices. I tried to reason with this rude woman on the phone. I simply asked her if she could possibly see how this could be even perceived as deceptive. Her answer to resolving a customer dispute? she HUNG UP on me! I wrote an email explaining the whole scenario, asking to speak to someone else about this, and try to resolve the situation. I was willing to pay something to get this done. I got no reply. GranBrazil did not finish third job. I ended up doing something that was not the best and not what I wanted. I spent a lot of money with the, knowing they weren't the lowest priced iootion, but wanting to support local. They purposely deceived us, took my money and then kicked us to the curb. They actually asked for a good Yelp review before the whole process began in exchange for a fire pit. Well here is you review. You know where I live. GranBrazil has the potential to do well. I had my new kitchen counters installed yesterday. I picked out the color the design everything was great UNTIL I noticed after install that my counter had a flaw in the pattern.This is not a small flaw it's huge and I wish I could attach the pictures. I called to complain and ask for it to be replaced only for the owner to tell me I had 3 options. Learn to live with it , pay 1000 to fix it or take them to Court. I am choosing court because of the way they treated myself and my husband... So if you choose to do business with this company beware. They are NOT about the customers they are all about their money. read more
