We shopped around for a place to have our wedding & landed here Granberry Hills, Teresa was very responsive, I had a zillion questions and she stayed patient as I shopped around which triggered more questions. I am very pleased our Classy wedding held in the I think was gardenside (to left) it was perfect place for us. Bridal suite was nice although my Hubby wasn't happy with there holding room (only negative). We used Smokey Ray BBQ approved vendor, all guests raved about the Brisket & Leg Quarters food 2102517205 Other vendors that had the best pricing this will save you time Sam - DJ Remmanniss 2107627994 he kept us on track, even encouraged a few things I was going to pass on 4 good photo-ops, Damien 2108854706 photographer & Daz 2107840334 Videographer (they all made a Big difference in our event) I highly recommend all of these Back to Granberry Hills Event, we did ceremony with party package, it allowed us to bring in alcohol (paid extra 4 bartender, bar/ice setup & security), Teresa helped really talk us through alot and I am particular Again key 4 me She responded even out of office. I would like to have some money back in my pocket, lol But It ended up being worth the money. Especially with guests not having go to different locations. Highly recommend but stay away from Cake Couture or Couture Wedding Cake in New Braunfels (became worst part of my experience). read more

We recently had our 55th wedding anniversary at Granberry Event Center and what a treat it was. Teresa and her team walked us through every step of the way helping picking out vendors, decorations and all the small details that made everything very special for us. We were quite surprised feeling we were at a Hill Country location just a mile off IH 35 and Weidner. So beautiful and peaceful. The venue was decorated perfectly and Meredith was our host for the evening...she is a rock star and helped us with our 5 hour party to address every detail. My wife and I highly recommend just taking a short drive to visit the venue they have...you will not be disappointed. read more

Granberry has consistently proven to be our top choice for event hosting. Our initial encounter with Granberry occurred in 2020 while researching venues for my wedding. After discovering them through their website and positive reviews, it quickly became evident during our first visit that no further search was necessary. The staff immediately provided a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, complemented by the venue's undeniable beauty. Four years later, in 2024, we returned to Granberry to arrange my daughter's Quinceañera, which was successfully held just last month, June 2025. The experience was remarkably consistent; it felt as though no time had passed. We once again received the same exceptional customer service and were reminded of the venue's stunning beauty. On both occasions, Granberry's team meticulously handled all planning aspects, allowing us to focus solely on selecting decor and catering. Their accommodating nature and seamless communication were instrumental in bringing my daughter's vision to life, even amidst last-minute adjustments. Similarly, for my wedding, their proactive and thorough planning ensured every detail was taken care of, instilling complete confidence and eliminating any day-of concerns. Without hesitation, should the opportunity arise to plan another event, Granberry would remain our top choice. A big shout out to the staff, especially to Teresa, she hosted both of our events. read more

I want to give an extra special thank you to Grandberry's wonderful staff, especially Teresa Alvarez, Katarina Sain (our day of coordinator), Meredith Mitchell, and Natalie Bustos. Thank you all for your patience and professionalism (especially when handling an anxious bride with a million questions and spreadsheets). Grandberry's dedicated team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and turned out exactly how I envisioned and planned it. It was truly a wonderful experience working with all of you to make my dream wedding come true. Thank you for making our wedding day breathtakingly beautiful and for allowing me to enjoy the moment instead of stressing about all the small details. I am so happy that we choose Grandberry to handle our special day! read more

We only booked Granberry for our reception, since we got married at the church, but Granberry Hills exceeded our expectations! The reception looked so elegant. They took care of everything, from the set up to the clean up. And they also provide a coordinator so we didn't have to worry about anything. Everyone mentioned to me that on the day of a lot of things would go wrong and would be out of our control, but nothing went wrong and the reception went smoothly! read more

Granberry Hills and their staff helped make our day just as pecial as we had hoped. We had a wedding coordinator assigned to help us get through all of the details of the big day including keeping us on time for the key events. We went with the all inclusive package which included catering service, bartending service, and DJ, just to name a few. The facility has so many options of decor that we didn't have buy anything separate. Since we were planning the wedding from Washington DC, we were constantly making phone calls that were always answered. Beautiful place, very nice ladies giving the tour and estimates. If you have a large event, this is a nice option.

It was so easy to get married at Granberry Hills! We were married on October 24, 2020. My now husband and I loved how easy it was to work with the staff and the safety precautions they had for us during a pandemic wedding. Having the support of the staff, especially our day-of coordinator, really made it feel like the best day of our lives. They also have really great advice on vendors and how to budget what you want/need. LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM read more

We had our reception on March 28,2021 at Hill side and it was beautiful with the sunset! We loved how they do all the decor and you have your own coordinator for the event. The only negative thing is that it did take a while to get our refund and our $500 deposit back. So if they owe you money, please keep calling them to give you your money back. And when we had to postpone our wedding due to covid, they refused to move it even though they double booked us. We were very fortunate to worked with a special coordinator who convinced the owner to have our reception on our one year anniversary. read more

I want to first acknowledge I don't usually leave reviews but I understand how important your wedding day is. I can say with 100% honesty choosing Granberry Hills Event Facility as my Venue was one of the best decisions my husband and I made. We met the Granberry team at the bridal extravaganza in 2019. The price, the package and the BEAUTIFUL ceremony and reception area took our breath away. Teresa and Natalie were always 1 call away as we started to prepare for our big day and never missed a beat. When the pandemic first hit us, the owner Bob Lowman reached out personally to discuss options. We knew we had to postpone the wedding ceremony but it was very important to us to get married on April 16th 2020. Bob offered to allow us to get married with just our pastor and 3 guest on the Gardenside and we did exactly that. Teresa was there with us and even though she had to keep her distance from us she still was there for support and that meant so much to us. Fast forward to our NEW wedding date December 6th 2020. A month before our big day I got extremely ill and needed emergency surgery. I reached out to the venue and was so worried that I wouldn't be able to reschedule. By the grace of God, Bob reached out and allowed me to reschedule on April 16th 2021, yes on our 1 year anniversary. How amazing is that? During a time when the wedding industry was just getting back on their feet, during April the peak of wedding season, and on a Friday?!?! Bob cared so much about us that he made a decision that was not the "best" business decision but a decision he knew would make us happy. On our wedding day, April 16 2021 we arrived at the venue and Teresa our assigned coordinator and the rest of the Granberry team set up everything EXACTLY the way that we wanted it. (YES THEY SET UP EVERYTHING FOR YOU). My wedding party and I were running a bit behind and Teresa helped get us back on track. Teresa continuously checked on me and made sure that the rest of the bridal party knew exactly what was happening next. As I was about to make my grand entrance I looked over and saw Bob standing there and I literally started crying and had to ask for a hug because this man is more than just a business owner he is a kind, supportive, patient man and one of my heroes. He made my dream wedding a reality and I can never thank him enough for that. Thank you to the entire Granberry team. Special shoutout to the best coordinator ever Teresa, you made my night STRESS FREE and Ron and I were so lucky to have you there on our wedding date and there for our celebration/vow renewal. To Natalie, thank you for always being there to answer my questions and greet us with that beautiful smile when Teresa wasn't available. Lastly, to Bob you are amazing and I can not wait to celebrate our 10 year anniversary with you guys So brides, grooms, family members, if you are looking for a venue that is beautiful, affordable, has amazing coordinators and will make your day stressful? Book with Granberry Hills now. BOOK!! BOOK!! BOOK!! I promise you it will be worth every penny. read more

My husband and I got married at the Gardenside location on November 24, 2019. I cannot say enough positive things about this venue and the people that work here. The Gardenside location was beautiful and the bulb lights both inside and outside of the venue were a nice touch as it got dark. Our coordinator for the day of our wedding, which is included in the cost of the venue, was Jennifer and she went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. She made sure that everything, ourselves included, stayed on schedule so that we could maximize all of our time on the big day. In short, it was a perfect day that exceeded our expectations. Although my wedding felt like a dream come true, everything was so beautiful and set up just like I imagined, I was pretty disappointed at the end of my wedding night. First off, I understand that there IS a mask policy. and that's completely fine, I understand. However, I heard there were some guests that were not wearing them before the ceremony began. I didn't have any control over that.. I did feel like I got some attitude from my coordinator.. like she was taking her frustration out on me. It made me feel like I was doing something wrong. During the reception when people were dancing, some people were still not were not wearing their masks.. I told everyone ahead of time this is how it's going to be but I mean, I cannot go up to every single person telling them to put their mask on on my wedding day. Well, towards the end of the night, my coordinator tells my mom that she would not be getting her $500 deposit fee back because people weren't wearing masks AND they took away my sparkler send off. How was this my fault? I did what I could by telling people before hand and yet something that was supposed to be very special was taken away from my husband and I. I think it could've been handled differently and I'm honestly just upset with the way we were treated and the attitude I received. It hurt to see my mom being treated like a little kid for something she didn't have control of. I've read a lot of reviews saying they had a stress free day and I wish I could say the same... read more

Four bride's in my family have been married at Granberry Hills, I was the third, & they truly are the best in the industry!!! They make you feel like family & the location, with it's two ballrooms & ceremony sites is GORGEOUS!!! The wedding coordinators do everything they can to make your wedding day stress free. I was at the wedding Sophia T is talking about & the problem was NOT the venue's nor the wedding coordinator's...it was the guests who were insistent on subverting the mask mandate put in place by the GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF TEXAS! I admit I had a hard time keeping my mask on but I kept to my table as much as possible so I didn't have to wear it that much. The wedding was BEAUTIFUL & so much fun...it's unfortunate that apparently guests, who all knew in advance of the mask requirement, couldn't just be thankful that the wedding was able to be held at all during a pandemic & mask up. read more

We came early to see the venue... they threaten to charge the bride for an extra hour? We saw a coordinator yell at a cake decorator shouting, " Everything needs to be done when it gets here!!!!!" A bizzilion times. The cake obviously fell over in the car. (Watch out! The road to get here is GHETTO and filled with horrible rocky speed bumps and potholes!!!!!) so the coordinator turned her back away and didn't even offer to help. We felt like we were watching a really bad movie. Uh hello? That obviously made the situation worse. Stop yelling and help be poor cake lady! They made her work on the cake table. They wanted to charge the bride for the use of another table... By the way... this place is so cheap, they do not turn on the ac until they start seeing guests. So the cake frosting was melting and my hair was ruined because it was so hot in the venue. The workers eat more food than the guests. We passed by the kitchen and not only did we see yellow stained cutting boards (this caused us not to eat dinner there yuck!), we saw the workers eating the food and desserts. We overheard the coordinator talking bad about the bride and calling her horrible. OK really? You are going to talk bad about the bride at the wedding? Talk about her at home or after the wedding. What if guests heard you like we did? It's unprofessional. It's unorganized. It's a venue that tries to take every penny from who ever is paying. The parking lot has an 80's light up sign that tells you where to park for the four weddings that can occur in the area. Feels like a gas station. You can hear other weddings reception music from your reception. The coordinator pushed us into the reception building even though we wanted to stay outside. She again yelled at people. We are not children. It's a wedding. Supposed to be happy. You totally ruined it. I feel badly for the bride. Whatever you do... don't have your even here. What an unpleasant experience. read more

I have to say this place is beautiful! Being from Vegas and having several wedding venues here in town this place was a wow. I totally understand having a wedding coordinator to make sure things run smoothly but I'm sorry to say the one at this wedding was awful! She was not friendly rude and sometimes things end up off the time frame. But to actually yell at the bride and make her cry on HER wedding day is awful! A little reminder you are being paid by the bride and groom and you need to chill! Your not paying us! I would never recommend a place like this to anyone!
