My wife got a call from the Doctor and told her she needs a shot in her foot and to make an…read moreappointment for 30 minutes due to the shot said she was the only one that can give this shot, so she spent about 30 mins on the phone getting a appointment and when the appt time came she went and was charged 25 dollars when she went in and when she was called back they told her she would have to make another appointment to get the shot the Doctor cannot give the shot you have to see the another person at the same place to get the shot she was talking to the one that gives the shot and he said he couldn't give the shot without an appt. This place is in need of help, wouldn't give money back said they would credit her, poorly run doctor office

I went here after going to a different doctor, without getting any explanation for what was wrong…read morewith me...... I didn't feel the office staff were very professional...... I filled out the paperwork that was required & brought it to the window. One woman was on the phone,chatting with a friend, the other filing her nails...... I said"Excuse me, could I please get some assistance?" The woman filing her nails,took the paperwork from me and rolled her eyes at me.....she told me to have a seat & someone would call me. I told her" I am hearing impaired, I won't hear my name when they call me, could you please ask them to get my attention by waving their hand at me,or coming over to me?" She looked at me like I was from another planet....... I then explained again, that I was hearing impaired,but could read lips...so if the person is looking at me I do better. Again, I was told to have a seat......so I sat down..... It took a good hour and a half before someone came up to me,told me to follow them.... I sat in the examination room for approximately 35 minutes,then the doctor came in. I explained what was wrong with me and she poked and prodded me for a minute or two. Then she says" I'll be right back." Well guess what???? She never came back!!!!! I went out into the hall to look for someone,because I was left sitting there for so long!!!!! When I found a woman,she said the doctor wants to get X-Rays. I said"Well the doctor couldn't tell me that?' She just left me there........and didn't say anything to me, except I'll be right back.....then she never came back!!! Then the woman said that I would have to go somewhere else......but it wouldn't be for over 2 weeks!!!!! I was so mad, I couldn't see straight!!! I took the paperwork that was handed to me, went right back down to the two women, who were still not earning their paycheck......shoved the papers in the window and said "I'm Done and I won't be back!!!" How does this office let that type of behavior go on there...... From a Doctor no less..... How do they stay in business, treating patients like that??? UNBELIEVABLE!!!! DO NOT GO HERE FOR HEALTH CARE!!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!

I had an appointment very early in the day. I was there 20 minutes early. I was not called back…read morewith the first group of patients. I asked at the front desk why and they had forgot about me. Then, I was taken back into another waiting room. I waited and waited.... After I had waited over an hour without anyone checking on me, I came out of the room and the nurse/worker who put me in the room wasn't around. I went back to the front, asked for a refund. I tried to reschedule but they couldn't find a time for 3 months. So I asked for the doctor to call me. The office called me on my way home. They were very unorganized so I asked again for the doctor to call. I have yet to get a call back. They DON'T care about their patients. Very poorly run business.

I call, I get put on hold for 12 mins until the call redirects back to the switch board, where I am met with a lady who is incredibly rude to me. When I didn't know the name of the Doctor I needed because when you search Anniston Foot clinic, it does not state that you are called a medical clinic with more than one doctor. I did not know that. I said I am sorry, am I calling the correct place. (Gives name of Anniston Foot Clinic) I don't know the name of the doctor. She said I can't make an appt if you don't know the name. Come to find out, there is only one foot doctor. So, being rude to me for what reason? After I was met with more hostility and rudeness for simply asking questions to better understand and both people acting like doing their job is an inconvenience. This clinic 100 percent needs to be monitoring those answering calls.

However! The doctors, PA's, nurses and staff are worth it!!! Dr. Gaines called me on his day off to ask me how I was doing! Dr. Snead came into my room, after I had already seen the PA, on my first appointment to introduce himself and welcome me to the area. (My family just moved here from Augusta, GA). Almost every time (because sometimes they are extremely busy) I call up to the Anniston or Oxford office I get a friendly voice who answers and my question answered or a call back within a timely manner with said question answered. You need to understand CARES clinics are busy for a reason... I will wait because I do not want to go anywhere else. I have the best doctors and PA's here!!

Just got home after waiting an hour and a half behind Cares office. I have chronic bronchitis and…read moreasthma and woke up last night with a temp of 102. I was the second person through the door of Anniston Cares at 7:30. I was expecting a Covid test in the back even though I had a negative home test last night. After 30 minutes they swabbed me and said they would call. After 45 minutes I tried to call them. No answer. I walked around to the front and asked if they had forgotten me. She said I couldn't be in the building unless they had negative test results. Back to the car. I asked a passing swabber what was going on that I had waited an hour and a half. She replied that they should have told me to go home and someone would call me. Still waiting. Why is it that I can go anywhere I want without a mask except their office? Why does it take over an hour to get Covid test result---- make that almost 2 and a half now. Why won't they accept my home test result from 8 hours earlier? I have been going to Cares for over 30 years, but I will be looking for a new doctor.
