I wish every day was " Pisco Bus" day! What a blast we had! The Yelpers crowd was few but colorful nonetheless! Fun fun times and fond memories. We got the opportunity to explore the most exclusive and secretive places of Miami. Sweet! On the fashion side: Ladies were trendy while guys got less picky... come on guys I wanna see some classy chic for this kind of events! So not only we had great drinks (well some of them were...see further down for details), food, goodies, but we had the ATTITUDE! Queen Maria impressed us once again with her awesomeness, Janay and Flo were the stars of the night, yelpers bodies dancing, and singing, and tourists stripping! Kudos to Ramon for his David Copperfield impression on the bus and Esther and Shawn for showing up. Favorite moments: Flo and a video camera all night, bodies surfing on the bus, a guy and a pool, the photoshoot at W ... Now on to the points giving: -Bass Museum Awesome place, liked the layout. I need to come back to actually visit it. After signing some obscure " American" legal paperwork ... got to try the awesome sandwich from Sand O Bar. Quite spicy but very tasty. I drowned a few " Black fog" to drench my thirst. Not bad but a bit too bitter for my taste. So 3 stars only. The cupcakes from " 2 girls and a cupcake" were quite good but the frosting was too sugary from me to eat more than two. Once we got our goodies and Tshirt (yay!) we jumped on the Bus and went to seat where the cool kids are! The driver on the bus was no DJ so we complain quite a bit but got the party started anyway! -Pacific Time What not to love? I have to start with the shrimps. I forgot how many I hate... I was overdosing on them. Sweet and crispy, this is the best thing I ate in a while! Then the tiny chicken salad thingy (not sure what you call them) were also good but nothing compared to the shrimps. The " Pisco Sunset" was a nice welcome. Sweet, peachy, yummy...a drink that gets a 4 stars from me. -Bardot !!! ( Shush, it's a secret!) Loved the idea of a secret bar with secret entrance ... what's the password again? Maybe Brigitte Bardot? No pictures allowed so I got so disappointed, my camera crying the unfairness because... how cute is this place? A narrow entrance with french posters (smiles), a live music stage...where we got to try our talents the entire time, a pool table, fury chairs, sofas, nice lighting. I rally enjoyed it. Now the drink was THE disappointment of the night. The " Cardamon Cup" tasted like my cucumber makeup remover from Body Shop (not that I drink it!). So lowest scores here 1 star. -Club 50 Still remember the Yelp event we had there... tons of fun. Now this was different ...no rain but a pool! What guys would do for free drinks! Anyways, still love the place, great view for the restroom. The " Pisco lychee punch" was delicious. I wish the would have given us more than one :( And to finish, the best... - The W WOW. I can' t believe I never went to this place. Great outside setting, great restrooms, huge pool... and quite a crowd. The best drink of the night with 5 stars is " Gran Lychee Grape". So good you melt on the beds. Night turned out quite interesting with the photoshoot of bodies mixing on the beds. Separate ways we went but not long forgotten faces... Yet another grand time on the Pisco Party Bus! Just as last time, it was a fun night with a group of Yelpers, as well as several others from Thrillist and a few independents . Here are the places we hit on the Pisco Party Bus, part dos: Bass Museum - This was the first time I'd been inside the Bass Museum and after seeing a small portion of it, I'd like to return and check out the rest. Here at the Bass we started off with the "Black Fog Punch", sandwiches from Sand-O-Lab to help soak up the alcohol we'd be imbibing throughout the night, and cupcakes courtesy of 2 Girls and a Cupcake. After a bit of conversation here we grabbed our goodie bags, everyone got a cool Gran Sierpe Pisco t-shirt and boarded the bus to begin the party bus tour. Pacific Time - It was nice to be back at Pacific Time again, as I hadn't been back here since an elite event at PT several months ago. They served up their rendition of "Pisco Sunset Punch", and they offered some great appetizers including chicken salad cups, shrimp and edamame. Unlike most of the places we hit on the last Pisco Party Bus tour where we only got one glass of punch at each lounge we visited, the Pisco punch kept flowing here and most people had a few glasses of it. The folks at PT were definitely excellent hosts and really took care of us on this night! Bardot - They featured a punch called "Cardamom Cup" which had a strong cucumber flavor and was a bit sweet. Bardot was an interesting place and I definitely wouldn't have found it on my own...Very interesting and laid back bar with a pool table, a band setup in the center section across from the bar, and several large seating areas with big, comfy couches, extra pillows, some fur-covered seats, coffee tables and bookshelves, which all came together to make it feel like you were sitting in a very large living room, but with a full bar and a huge group of friends. When I was using the restroom on the way out, Jacob C. was commenting that he was taking the best pee ever. Must have been incredible, as it's probably been years since I was that enthusiastic about a stream of urine. At some point during this bus ride JoseLuis ended up reprising his body surfing moves, then I was hoisted up and tossed around, then Luis S. and George M. both gave it a try as well. Club 50 - Another place we'd been to for an Elite event a few months ago. It was great to be back and as usual, everyone who hadn't experienced this place before was blown away by the view from the 50th floor, as you can see so much around you and can see for such a long distance. Club 50 served up their "Gran Lychee Grape" punch. Most everyone ended up outside by the pool, and Luis S. ended up stripping down to his boxer briefs, proving that he has the upper body of a god (seriously, if he doesn't get a dozen or more marriage proposals after the ladies see the photo of him emerging shirtless from the pool, there's somethin' wrong!), and going for a swim until security came out, put an end to it and handed him a towel. When we first pulled up to this place, I don't think the people out in front quite knew what to think of our group, as a small school bus full of people singing, yelling and banging on the ceiling pulled up, the front door opened, the rear emergency exit opened and a few dozen party goers filed out of the bus and scurried toward the lobby. W, Living Room - On the bus ride here a few of the guys ended up shirtless, and an unnamed female member of our party ended up stripping a boy who was visiting from out of town down to his undies. As we arrived at the W, it was the same situation - there were dozens of people out on the sidewalks and waiting in line, and our bus full of screaming people pulled up, we all filed out (Jacob, Luis and a guy from another group actually lifted themselves up through one of the emergency escape hatches in the roof of the bus, danced across the roof, jumped down and across the hood of the bus and then onto the ground) and while many people were standing in line to get in, our group of crazies went straight to the front of the line and were given immediate admission. This was a perfect night for us to hit this place, and it was a great venue for us to end our night. The temperature was perfect, there was a nice breeze and they put us in one of the larger cabanas. We all sprawled out on the beds they had in the cabanas and were served their "Pisco Lychee Punch". It was very tasty, probably my favorite punch of the evening, and there were lots of photos of us laying around, piled on top of each other, etc. In all a great night, I can hardly wait for Pisco Party Bus part III!! Last Night I had the HONOR of riding the Gran Pisco Party Bus! The bus was filled to the brim with Yelpers and non Yelpers alike. Our Lovely Cm Maria encouraged us to do what we do best. Whats that you ask ??? Party like its 1999 !!! Bass Museum : The Meet up spot of the night. I've never been to this museum before but once I stepped inside I was overwhelmed. Sometimes the Simplest piece can say so much. After signing my life away to Gran Pisco/Yelp I got to sample some sandwiches from Sand-O-Lab. Very yummy a tad on the spicy side but still good. Beatriz and I met and fell in Love over the 2 Girls and a Cupcakes. The Gran Pisco Drink for this location was the "Black Fog Punch" I'm not used to Bitters so it wasn't my favorite. Back Of the Bus Bitch's! Pacific Time : The Gran Pisco drink here was the " Pisco Sunset Punch' and boy did the the staff keep it flowing. I loved all the appetizers that they served us ! Wow can we eat !!! The Shrimp and edamame were my favorite. Bardot : The secret password to get in ??? Pisco ! I absolutely love this speakeasy vibe. Ana and I kept referring to it as a Musician's Playground. Everything from the decor to the drinks were unique. Speaking of which the drink concoction at Bardot was a "Cardamom Cup'. If your not a huge fan of cucumber I wouldn't recommend it. As for myself it was OK it did leave that cucumbery after taste though. As Paul mentioned the couches were perfect for sitting around with friends and sharing laughs and even singing some Beatles songs. I WILL DEFIANTLY BE BACK! Club 50 : This place is UH-MAZE-ING done said it. Now that I've gotten that off my chest. The sights are unbelievable. I tried to use the potty but Beatriz pushed me into the Handicapped stall. After the initial shock of the view I was able to really take it in. Boy is it BEAUTIFUL ! I'm considering leasing out that stall I wonder what my mortgage would be ? The Gran Lychee Grape punch was pretty tasty and hit the spot. After grabbing some drinks we dragged ourselves out to the Rooftop pool. Luis S took it upon himself to test out the water and Boy Oh Boy it looked Hella good ! W, Living Room : I really don't Think The W knew what they were in for. Once we pulled in and all the guys put there clothes on we were off ! We even had to pray to mecca to make sure no one fell after climbing through the top of the bus. Once we approached the line we calmly and quietly let the door host know who we were " Yelp Elites Coming through! " Once they placed us in our Cabana we lounged out. Next the Pisco Lychee Punch was brought over to us and the giggles got even louder !!! This was THE BEST drink of the night. After a few drinks the Photo Shoot began. PAULA ! PAULA ! LOL From Yelp & The City to Yelpers gone wild. We are one sexy bunch. Crowd surfing, People in togas, Me finding a dollar bill in my bra this morning. Oh what a night. Once again thanks to ALL the great venues for Giving us the 4 star treatment. Thanks to Gran Pisco for supplying us with such creative drinks and a great time. My yelpers My soul-mates !!!! Even better than the first! After two rounds on the bus i can definitely say I'm digging the Pisco and will be adding Pisco and ginger ale into my mixed drink rotation I caught up with the Pisco bus as it was leaving Pacific Time for Bardot. Thanks so much to my favorite Yelpers for the rockstar greeting :-) What a great introduction to Bardot. I had already heard excellent things but hadn't had a chance to stop by this swanky but eclectic lounge. The Pisco cocktail with the champagne was nice, but the addition of cucumber made it more "spa day" than "hot night out." I will definitely be back to soak up the great ambiance at Bardot. Club 50 was fantastic as always - I can never get over that view. I think that's where the shenanigans started - something about someone jumping into a pool? hmmmmm?? And finally, the W. Maria, Gran Sierpe and The Workshop really outdid themselves. Between skipping the massive line at the door, the drinks and the reserved cabana, it was a seriously VIP experience. What a gorgeous night to be out by the pool. The question of how many Yelpers can fit on a bed will only be decided once the incriminating photos emerge. Dun-dun-DUN!!!! I don't think riding around in a school bus will ever get old - ridiculous amounts of fun. Extra props to Janay for being the best party motivator ever. read more

I have to say I am so glad I went on this thing again because it keeps getting crazier and crazier. I look forward to many, many more big yellow school buses filled with rambunctious yelpers and other interesting new folk! (waves to rey, syracuse, charlie, and eli! even if you're not reading this). The Bass Museum is absolutely beautiful. The shiny motorcycle screams "ride me!" (that's what SHE said), and it's really hard to keep your hands off... I would like to come back here to give it a well-deserved tour. The starter drinks weren't so great, I guess aromatic bitters are not my thing. Sand-O-Lab and 2 Girls and a Cupcake came through, though. I'd never had the girls' cupcakes, and the little bite size ones that night were a perfect introduction to their delicious chocolate frosting. Pacific Time had one of my two favorite drinks of the night, and of course they did me right again with their shrimp. However, I don't know if it's because I was still too sober, but I feel as though we lingered a little too long there. Hmmm... BARDOT... Oh emm gee... Did I just die and go to heaven? This place is a swanky musicians' playground. Artwork on the walls kicks ass, decor is too cool for school, and the whole band setup just makes me more than a little warm inside. I think I tried playing everything there but the piano...too bad we couldn't hook everything up to the sound system and jam. Maybe next time. Because there WILL be a next time. I finally made it to Club 50 thanks to the Pisco Bus... it is GORGEOUS up there! The view is not to be missed, and their drink was the second of my two favorites of the night. One thing about this place, though... If you're there having a drink, just remember THE POOL IS JUST FOR DECORATION. If you go in, a million security dudes who apparently hide in the bushes (because i had NO idea there were so many of them til Luis jumped in) will come after you. Finally, the W. Seems like yesterday they were building this place, and now it's all done and pretty and Gossip Girl-ified. Really, with the "seen and be seen" crowd at this place that night I really thought I was in an episode of GG or The Hills (and no, I haven't watched those shows, but from the commercials I feel like they have scenes in places like the W filled with L.A. types). They did a great job with this place. The hotel is beautiful inside and out. Got to check out the lobby and the restrooms which were equally as packed as the outdoor/pool/cabana area. And you can see all the guys in line for the bathroom through a giant glass wall while you're waiting in the ladies' room. It's pretty fun. Loooovveee the way we completely bypassed the line full of people as we made our grand entrance into the W, btw. On the bus there was a little more crowd surfing and a little less mooning going on than the first time. A little more being whisked out of the back of the bus by a certain gentleman, and a little less dancing. New highlights included certain people crawling out of the bus via the emergency exit on the top, people sporting mardi gras-ish masks, and a video of the entire experience. EXCELLENT!! A Pisco Bus virgin no more!!! This past Thursday I entered the wicked and wild world of the Pisco Bus! Unfortunately, I was not able to attend the first one (damn you school!) but I decided after hearing all about the Pisco Bus I HAD to make it to this one. We met up at the Bass Museum, which I LOVE! And, were immediately greeted by awesome food, courtesy of sand-o-lab and 2 girls and a cupcake, and an awesome drink, courtesy of Gran Sierpe Pisco. OMG! It was heaven! Next we moved on to the bus where we made our way to our next stop: Pacific Time. I've gotta say, I don't know if it was because of the lack of drinks in my system or what but this was my least favorite of the places we went to that night. It was basically just us. The food was quite delish though! hot and sweet shrimp and chicken salad bites...YUM!!! Bardot was our next stop and DEF my FAVE stop of the entire night!!! This place is the epitome of COOL!! My God, I thought I was transported to the 70s! Such a cool and laid back atmosphere and there were instruments!!! REAL INSTRUMENTS!!!! I have to come back to this place SOON!! Back on the bus people started to body surf. There were quite a few surfers this time as I heard there was only one last time. TAKE THAT! Club 50 was next and there was something about someone taking their clothes off and jumping into the pool. The Club 50 police reprimanded us for being so irresponsible. JEEZ YOU GUYS!! I had been to Club 50 before but my JAYSIS is it beautiful!!! We had a lychee pisco drink which ended up being my favorite! Our last stop was at the very exclusive W. This place was UHMAZING!!! SOOO beautiful! The bathrooms had glass walls and you could see what the guys on the other side were doing...really just waiting to use the stalls. The cabanas outside and the pool...it really was something out of an MTV show. A GREAT night with great company, great drinks and great food!!! I am hooked on the Pisco Bus!!! read more

I have been nursing the hangover from this night...till this moment! Kidding kidding, but it probably was one of the craziest and best nights of my life in a long time! Lucky me was in on round dos of this amazing concept called the Pisco Bus! I ain't going to lie and pretend I remembered the places we went..(read the other reviews for that!) All I remember: yummy sub/sandwiches at the Bass signing my life away free Pisco shirt! strong drinks at Bass rummaging through goodie bags at Bass shiny bright thing at Bass back of the bus - HOLLLLERR!! walking to the front to the bus driver to play something good while concentrating on the road so we all don't die...sober. video man following Yelpers around craziness for shrimp at Pacific Time video game boys versus musicians from Boston debate $60 club 50 shots Robocop in club 50 pool - wet underwear cucumber lime drink at Bardot no camera allowed at Bardot W cushions W all men party = crash unbuttoning Syracuse's shirt...twice I was told ( i only remember once) body surfing George M. unloading Yelp girls off the back of the bus Masks pix Flashing lights everywhere As you can tell, I don't remember much...but I sure know I had a blast! :) read more

I haven't had this much fun in sooooo long! I can't wait for Pisco Bus part 3!! It was so much fun hanging out with the Yelpers and causing all kinds of mayhem! First stop at the Bass Museum was nice. The artwork was really different and cutting edge. The sandwiches that were available were amazing (maybe it was the fact that I was starving, but I still think they were amazing). They had cupcakes laid out from 2 Girls 1 Cupcake and they were incredible. I kept on having one cupcake after another. My fav was the guava cupcake with cream cheese frosting....wow! The drink at the Museum though was less than stellar. I think the guy put WAY to much aromatic bitters in the drink and as a result I couldn't even finish one whole drink. We piled into the bus and drove all over town sampling several different pisco beverages. The drinks seemed to get better and better with each stop. We hit up places like Bardot, Club 50 and the W Hotel to name a few. I think my favorites were the pisco with champagne and cucumber at Bardot and the lychee pisco at the W Hotel. Things got a little crazy that night (like jumping in the pool at Club 50) but I look forward to another night just like it. It was nice to unleash my inner middle school hooligan and act rowdy and crazy on a school bus. I got to drink some booze - the W's was the best, sit next to and fake make out with a French girl ( finally those French lessons paid off decades later ) and get smothered in some big old boobies and lay on a bed with some of the hottest chicas in all of south Florida. And I missed the first 2 stops ...lol I will for sure go back to Club 50 they made a great impression as did Bardot's. The Gran Sierpe reps were gracious and it was cool meeting them. I am down for numero tres tambien. read more
