Awful experience. Racist and unprofessional waiter.
Food is not that bad (even if we waited almost 1h for a tasteless pizza because he took an order for take away of 20 pizzas After ours!!!!!) if you compare it with the service (a Spanish waiter in his sixties openly racist).
We were 3, 2 Spanish and 1 Italian, and we spoke English between us at all the time. As soon as the waiter noticed we were Spanish he started to speak with us in Spanish, including with my Italian friend who was struggling to get everything he said. Even more, he called him fat (he didn't understand why we were eating pizza if it's a meal full of calories) and alcoholic because he ordered 2 beers during the whole dinner!
I seriously think I met the most racist, sexist and homophobic Spanish waiter ever working in London.... Disgusting person working in an Italian restaurant, overconfident with the customers (he was giving us his opinion about everything we were speaking without even ask him) and saying things like:
-London was better before, cheaper and not full of immigrants (saying this he was working for and with Italians, near to King's Cross station, and so far he had 5 tables, 3 of then tourist or immigrants for sure).
-Remembering about how was Spain when Franco was there, everything better (he said he left Spain 50 years ago, so he didn't really live and suffer how was the dramatic situation in Spain after our civil war).
-He mentioned that knew Venezuela (the mum of my Italian friend is from there) is a country full of young misses but full of faggots (maricones).
-He complained at loud in Spanish when 2 Asian girls came in. He assumed they were Japanese saying to them: you speak Japanease, no? And he started to speak with them in English as if they were retarded.
Unbelievable? Surrealist? No, the worse thing is that he was serious. read more
