I tried to make sure I got a seat outside, by calling after making my reservations online. I was assured this would be no problem, turns out one of the employees routinely says 'yes' to this request, without really checking. The manager was a bit embarrassed about this, and it being a hot day we were kind of bummed. However, I knew how good the food and place is, so really, it didn't take us long to forget that little thing. I cordially suggest taking the carbonara, a dish I would never recommend anywhere else. Just saying.

Besides the fact that it has an open kitchen so you can see how they are preparing your dish, you can taste the freshness of their ingredients that are visible in the counter. The pasta itself is cooked as it should. If you bite it, it feels tender in the mouth, yet with a little bite to it. Just how it supposed to be. (Instead of that mushy pasta most places serve.)
