The Red Cross in Las Cruces, NM gave them some initial help, and said don't do anything else until your case worker contacts you. That was over a week ago, but after many phone calls, the case worker has not contacted them. And the original Red Cross person who came to do the intact information, keeps passing the buck and saying call the case worker...but the case worker never responds, or has tried to contact them. Meanwhile, they still have no place to stay and need help with housing, replacing their documents and are basically having to put their lives on hold. They were told, "Don't worry, you will have follow up help after the fire"....but crickets chirping. Then today, Red Cross has put an ad online for donations to help Syrian Refugees. That's OK, but these kids are US citizens who've paid taxes, who'd parents did as well and who's fathers are US Veterans.

Then add the obligatory insurance (which I do not need for the contents) $52. Still pretty good. Then the last two invoices jumped up to $70 w no notice. Still cheapest 10x10. It will do no good to bitch about it to them because nothing will happen except I get pissed off. Motivates me to get rid of my shit tho. So I guess that's good.

Then the "manager"/scumbag lied about calling us on April 23rd and 24th to notify something was wrong. I confirmed that with the female employee working in the office @ 12:30 on May 5, 2025. Avoid this place at all costs! They seem friendly but won't do anything meaningful to help when its their property they let thieves into. No cameras covering half of the property too, look at the monitor in the office to confirm if your unit is even safe. As of 1 pm they all ran away and closed the office for lunch while we still needed help. Absolutely no courtesy or care for the their customers

As I was returning to the office (still closed) a vehicle puled up and it was the manager -- he finally showed up at 10:20. The manager asked what we needed and I said I would like to rent a storage unit. He then proceeded to ask why I was looking around, I informed him I was here at 10am and was looking for him. He complained that I was there before 10am, he saw me there at 9:55! I asked him why he wasn't here at 10 and why the security gate was open. He became upset and didn't want my business. This is unfortunate, because the owner is a nice, customer service oriented. This Manager doesn't care about customers or their things in storage.

But if you are looking for beautiful stationary type paper, this is your place. Terrific supply of office needs too. We had some printing done there and while the cards look nice it did take a bit longer than one would expect from an in house printer. But I am gonna shop around for a better printing place.

I have never been there before and I walked in and found it to be a very clean establishment and I walked up to the customer service section and was asked if I was here to pick up an order and I said no I just needed some paperwork and the lady said it's over there in that other section. I wasn't exactly sure which document I needed and so I went back to her. I said can you help me out and she goes just look at whatever the label says on the copy you have and go look for that name. I must say this is hands-down one of the most unprofessional businesses that have ever been to. it's kind of strange because everybody's striving for business and everybody complains when local businesses aren't getting enough business to stay up and running, but I have to admit the way I was treated was absolutely horrible. Unless it's absolutely necessary I will never visit this establishment again and will tell absolutely everybody I know to avoid it as well.

This an official response to the only negative review for Desierto view Disposal…read more We take reviews seriously, especially allegations that our company would "steal" from customers, so we feel it is important to respectfully clarify the facts while protecting the privacy of everyone associated with the account. First, no unauthorized automatic withdrawal occurred. The opposite happened: automatic payments on this account had been unsuccessful, which resulted in a past-due balance. Our company sent multiple notifications regarding the unsuccessful payments and the account balance. A separate issue involved a month when we were told that service had previously been requested to be temporarily suspended. We initially could not locate documentation of that request. We investigated the concern, requested additional information regarding the call, and ultimately removed the disputed month's charge. Our staff apologized for the misunderstanding, and at that time we were thanked for helping resolve the issue. Regarding the senior discount, that was an entirely separate matter and was not retaliation for questioning a bill. The account is held in the senior customer's name. Our office was subsequently informed that the senior account holder was no longer residing at the service address. Based on that information, the account was scheduled to be changed to the regular rate. When conflicting information was later provided regarding the account holder's residence, we advised that the matter would be reviewed before proceeding. We also want to be very clear about the statement warning customers against AutoPay because we will "steal" from them. That characterization is false. The balance involved unsuccessful automatic payments--not unauthorized withdrawals. At no point did our company take money through AutoPay that we were not entitled to take. We respect the decision of anyone who chooses to discontinue service, and we respect every customer's right to question a charge. In this case, our staff investigated the billing concern, adjusted the disputed charge, communicated extensively in an effort to resolve the situation, and remained professional throughout the process. In fact, following the resolution of the account issues, another individual involved with the account provided positive feedback regarding our staff's helpfulness and the quality of our service. We are a local company, and our reputation is extremely important to us. We will make mistakes from time to time, and when we do, we will investigate them and work to make things right. What we will also do is respectfully correct the record when our employees or company are accused of dishonesty when the documented circumstances do not support that accusation.
