This was something pretty cool to see. We couldn't view it all because the cops had some of the area blocked off with caution tape. Looks like a storm had come through and poles and trees were down in this area. The colors are so bold and vibrant. I love stuff like this.

Whenever visiting big cities, I try to find the local art scene and works. This one did not disappoint. It felt like an endless beautiful graffiti wall showcasing hundreds of artists. I could've spent half a day taking my time to admire it all. Easy to drive to and just cruise on by.

I've been to a number of Graffiti Walls and Graffiti Alleys including Toronto https://www.yelp.com/biz/graffiti-alley-toronto?hrid=aTRp4igmW1OqmYwphGF_aQ, Ann Arbor https://www.yelp.com/biz/graffiti-alley-ann-arbor?hrid=lxz9ymLQVK_JyjwBeU927g and Pensacola https://www.yelp.com/biz/the-graffiti-bridge-pensacola-2?hrid=XtFBtMeUASpqM6CUI15PBA. Without doubt, this one in Saint Louis is larger and better by orders of magnitude. The graffiti takes up the levee walls and has to be more than a mile. It's insane. Some of the art is mediocre but most of it is absolutely mind-boggling. There is some tremendous talent here. Do not go here at night. Do not go here alone. This is a very sketch part of town and I wouldn't recommend hanging out too long. But definitely check it out! [Review 17235 overall - 142 in Missouri - 752 of 2022.]

The graffiti wall is a must visit location when in Saint Louis The wall seems to be never-ending when you start at one end and look down the road. The artists are so talented and there is almost always something new painted on when I go for a visit! This is a great spot for a photo shoot as you will likely find a great background with so many colors and designs. Feel free to park your car on a nearby street and take a walk to explore the wall at your own pace. Just be sure you lock your car and don't leave any valuables in sight since this is kind of near an abandoned part of the city. I always go during the daytime and don't recommend a visit once the sun has gone down-just be smart and be careful! I really hope to one day visit when an artist is working so I can watch. I am just so impressed with the great attention to detail in so many of the pictures. There are many different designs and you can tell that each artist brings their own unique styles. Go check it out!

This spot is legendary and one of the best parts about St. Louis! The art wall goes on for miles and is forever changing. Come here and fill your senses with amazing colors and graffiti creations. Plenty of areas to park just watch for glass.

I stumbled upon this place while checking out the rail yard that it's next to. People if you have read the reviews it's a very sketchy area along a rail yard on a service road and once you get on the ride you can't get off until it's over because it's like a mile long wall on one side and railroad tracks on the other with no exits, a great road to ambush/rob/whatever to people. I would not go here after dark even if it was lit up but it's not. It's very creepy because it's ripe for being at the wrong place at the right time vibe, anything goes down and absolutely no one around to help you so come strapped. That being said there is great bbq restaurants near by and other things like a market area that was not open yet, possibly a flea market/farmers market I noticed while killing time waiting for the bbq restaurant to open. It really is a cool thing to stumble on because the artwork is beautiful and I imagine that it changes because anyone can graffiti over any ones else's artwork.

My absolute favorite place to go see art for free in STL! Each year the wall is cleared & started fresh. Really talented artists and many styles of graffiti from tagging to murals. I've always visited via car, but you Uber as well.

If you love art and looking for free thing to do then this place must be on your list for sure. Well if you can walk or drive along the wall and click as many pics as you can. Pros: ------ Awesome art work Good for Photo shoots Close to St. Louis Arch In Downtown Free Activity Cons: ------- None to me but be cautious if you decide to walk

This is a MUST see area of St Louis if you like street art. This impressive flood wall is covered with so many designs and tags and colors and styles it's a sight to behold! It's ever evolving from the yearly event called Paint Louis and the sheer enormity of it is enough to impress. Lots of styles and amazing art that is so fun to see!

St. Louis does not get nearly enough credit as we should for our mark in the arts...but that's another show. If you're visiting the area or a resident who's never visited the graffiti wall, shame on you. It's severely captivating to see all the beautiful forms of expression in vivid colors & characters along the wall. Located on the riverfront at Chouteau extending south for about a mile. The art is displayed on both sides of the flood walls in case you're driving it may be useful to park and stroll a bit to take in all the wonders of the wall. Truly amazing the skill level of these artist. I appreciate it.

I love finding this kind of stuff. The 'graffiti' extends almost to the area behind the Gateway Arch, and follows the river (and a nice bike road). At some point, it kind of cuts off, which I didn't wander through. I really wish there were somewhere for cars to park just to view these and walk around. I wonder if the city would renovate the area to be a modern park with walking space to improve the area. Seeing some of the graffiti, I felt like the pieces were not as great as ones in the past. There were more tags than images, so it didn't really give a lot of meaning for viewers. Also some tags overlapped some great pieces, so that's a little disappointing as well. I guess that's the organic part of graffiti at work. Cool spot to get photos and I'm sure people come out here to get some awesome portraits taken.

This wall, broken into 3 large sections, is one of the most captivating and subcultured things I have seen while visiting a city. The details inside each design were sinful. Some parts were really fun and cartoonish, some parts were political and inspiring. Located behind the arch, on the river, after the walking path ends, the graffiti wall is a hidden gem that deserves your attention. Wear flat, comfortable shoes that you don't care too much about because walking the wall will take you through unkept, soggy, mud piled grass areas and then into what can only be described as a stone depot place your grandma takes you when she is buying landscaping supplies. And the fact that it was difficult and maybe a little unsafe made my visit here that much more special. The river is near by so you might get lucky and see one of those large white boats pass you by. Getting to and from isn't easy. I had an uber drop me off and then had to walk about a mile to get within a radius that an uber could discover me. My suggestion is to start as far away from the arch as possible and make your way towards the more touristy area so finding a ride is easier. I did the opposite and wasn't happy about it. Also, be sure to go during the day.

But here's the thing: you'd always ask if she's coming, because she's the life of the party. This neighborhood is pure character -- historic brick buildings, streets meant for wandering, and an endless lineup of bars, restaurants, and live music joints that feel like they've been here forever. Stroll the streets with a drink in hand, pop into a corner pub for some blues, or time your visit for one of the many events that take over the area. From Mardi Gras to market days, Soulard never fails to please the senses... even if it occasionally offends your nose. Honestly, Soulard should lean into its reputation even more -- imagine a Crazy Aunt Run in the spirit of the Mrs. Roper Romp or the Red Dress Run. The crowds are already here, so why not throw in a few more wild, themed events to keep the energy rolling year-round? It's gritty, it's charming, it's unpredictable -- and that's exactly why you'll want to keep coming back.

From Saturday mornings wandering around the Market to late night bites and brews after Blues hockey games in one of the booths at International Tap House, Soulard has always felt like a warm security blanket to me. Of course today is the day that is most synonymous with Soulard, and walking around the neighborhood you are welcomed with splashes of purple, green and gold hanging from windows and balconies... All screaming "LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL!" Each year, Soulard hosts one of the most well attended parades in the United States. And every year, the neighborhood shows our country that St. Louis knows how to throw a party. Whether you're smashed against the barricades screaming for beads or enjoying one of the amazing events inside the Bud Light tent in Soulard Market park, this neighborhood welcomes party goers with open arms. But Mardi Gras parties aren't the only reason I love Soulard. There's so much history and character living along the streets within the boundaries of this picturesque neighborhood. Plaques adorn homes and businesses throughout Soulard giving passersby a quick lesson about the stories of the neighborhood's past. One of my personal favorite parts of Soulard is found at the corner of 13th and Pestalozzi Street. The iron eagle above the street screams St. Louis history. Most mornings you can snap a selfie with Anheuser-Busch's iconic dalmations and clydesdales! It feels like rubbing elbows with St. Louis royalty. The residents of Soulard have created one of the most tight knit communities in the entire city. Everyone says hello as they walk their pups and drink ice cold Budweisers all summer long. Golf carts blare music adding to the electric atmosphere each night. And neighbors regularly help one another like shoveling sidewalks and sharing meals. Soulard. I love you!
