I strongly discourage visiting this place. They are highly inconvenient and display a complete disregard for people's time and needs. On February 7, 2023, I contacted them to schedule a massage appointment following my surgery, as I was in dire need of one. I specifically inquired if they could accommodate me, and the person I spoke to assured me that they could. She mentioned that she would call me back after consulting with the massage therapist to check their availability. When she called back, she asked whether I preferred a male or female therapist, and I expressed my preference for a female therapist. She asked me some questions regarding my surgery, informed me about their availability, and successfully scheduled me for a massage on February 9th, 2023, at 1 pm. After the phone call, I received a confirmation text message for my appointment, along with a link to fill out an intake form. I completed the form, and the next day (February 8th, 2023), I received another confirmation/reminder text. However, on the day of my appointment, instead of receiving a courteous call, I received a text message from someone named Chasity, notifying me that they had canceled my massage. The reason given was that the massage therapist "didn't feel comfortable" performing the massage, mentioning that they were only trained to perform it prior to the surgery. This was incredibly inconvenient and frustrating because they had two whole days to inform me before the appointment, allowing me to seek an alternative elsewhere. Moreover, it is mind-boggling that they asked me about my surgery and proceeded to schedule the appointment, only to cancel it through a text message because the massage therapist was uncomfortable. It is unacceptable to waste people's time in such a manner due to their inability to fulfill their job responsibilities. Save yourself the hassle and find another establishment that values your time. Support a business that genuinely prioritizes their customers and respects their commitments. read more

I will never visit this place or recommend to someone again. Everything went well until it was time to check out after my massage. I got a couple's massage for me and my husband, booking it online easily with a price that was reasonable and lower than other places (part of the reason I chose it). I received a confirmation email with the price I booked it at, which included the service charge. We went, got a great massage from Megan and Christin, and go to check out and are told it was $40 more than what was online. This was BEFORE the tip we gave to the 2 masseuses. I didn't mention anything because I thought maybe I remembered it wrong. I check my email when I leave, and it was the price I remembered, not what we were charged. I get in contact with the company (they didn't answer their phone and I received a text in response with a real person). They were so incredibly rude. They... 1. said they changed their prices a year before, so maybe I needed to refresh my page to get the right price (I scheduled a week before, not a year before) 2. defended the prices they now charge because of inflation, but didn't address the fact that I was given a price and then charged a significant amount more 3. told me that I can call the scheduling software company if I wanted to make a dispute but that they wouldn't be able to help me and 4. told me I could take $20 from each of the masseuses tip to cover the mischarge. I was blown away by them offering to take money from the masseuses. I was tempted to call and let them know that the company they work for does NOT have their back. The person I spoke with was responding after hours, so I'm not sure who it was, but when I asked, I never received a message back. I don't know about the rest of the services there, but I was embarrassed by the customer service they afforded. read more

As someone who has traveled the world and holds residences in 2 states, one being a large metropolitan area and one being Hickory, I can confidently say that I have been to some of the best spas out there. I can also confidently say that this one is a hidden gem in a small town that ranks way up there for me as one of my favorites. The house it is set in is over 100 years old and delights you with so much charm & character. My husband and I have had numerous couples massages here and were beyond impressed each time. They really pay attention to detail! I'm blown away by all the extras that come with just a Swedish massage. We even get hot stones and foot scrubs at the end, which were a nice touch. Last time I was there Tonya noticed I was having sinus issues and gave me an amazing face massage to relieve the pressure and Marshall has done wonders relieving my husbands hip issues, which are a result of excessive traveling in small airplane seats regularly, that neither a chiro or pt could fix. I've never seen employees who care so much about their clients or a business owner who goes so above and beyond for her patrons. You can tell she really cares and takes her business very personally. She even asked me about my dog who had recently had surgery. I was surprised she remembered. Afterwards, we spend time in the sauna in which we are brought cupcakes and champagne. What a nice, romantic afternoon we get to enjoy every time we come here! I have to say that the last time I was there, a cast member of the show "Southern Charm" was there and I had a bit of a fan girl moment. Apparently this persons family has a house in the mountains and every time they travel there they stop at this spa. I was really impressed with that. After recently moving to the area, I found this Spa on Groupon where they had over 200 rave reviews and almost 100 rave reviews on Facebook so I decided to give them a try even though their Yelp & Google reviews were less than favorable. Well, all I can say is Im glad I did because I had an amazing experience. This is a large "shabby chic" style Spa that you would find in a big city. They have a wide range of services and a huge selection of retail (I bought a great dress to wear out that evening). The staff was very friendly, well trained and professional. I came in just wanting to get a pedicure & manicure fixed that another local salon had done poorly and ended up adding a massage. I was served wine as well as cheese crackers, asked my music preference and offered to use the sauna which were all a nice touch. The "coconut pistachio" pedicure was probably the best I've ever had and the massage included (at no extra charge) a scented eye pillow, aroma therapy, hot stones, hot towels & the therapist used some sort of brush on my feet which was nice. The Spa is beautifully decorated. I'm so glad I found a great full service location here and I look forward to getting my hair done soon and trying out a facial. read more

I have been going to this Spa for about 5 years now. As a body builder waxing, facials, back facials and massages are necessities. I have had full body waxing (back, chest, arms, legs, face etc) from Chasity and a Manzilian (i think this is what they call it) & nose and ear waxing from Whitney. They are both excellent. I actually travel from Charlotte once a month to visit these ladies and would not go anywhere else. I have had Medical Massages from Marshal (the first and ONLY guy I have ever allowed to massage me) and he is awesome. He literally reset all my muscles, corrected imbalances and fixed my tennis elbow. I have also received facials and back facials from Whitney and Erin. Also, Amelia cuts my hair and Chasity does my manicures and pedicures. This is a great Spa with an even greater staff. It is worth the drive because I can spend a few hours and get everything I need done in one place. It is also nice that they offer the Sauna so i can, detox and burn some inches before leaving. What I like most are the private rooms so i never feel embarrass in a building full of female clients receiving my manscaping. read more

I booked a spa day for the women of our church and I must say that the staff at Grafin Blau went above and beyond to accommodate all of our needs. We chose the package that included food and services (needless to say we were going to be there for a while so we had to eat LOL). Heather made sure I had gluten free cupcakes so I could join in on the desserts and we were also celebrating a birthday in our group. Heather made sure to really make it memorable for us and our birthday girl. Our massages, pedicures, facials, and ALL of our services were top notch. Received a wonderful pedicure here from Chasity and an equally amazing haircut from Sharon. Both were very professional and talented. Sharon had a lot of experience in working with thick, curly hair such as mine and Chasity gave me what they call a seasonal pedicure. From what I understand they change the scent of their seasonal services monthly. March was pistachio coconut which was heavenly. I highly recommend this Spa as it is very clean and they offer a large selection of services. read more

Finally! There is a hair stylist that knows her shears and razor! Sharon gave me the best cut I have had in 11 years. My grandson had his hair cut too. He has SPD and sat still the entire time. She gave him a great cut and he wants to go back! 10 million stars is more like it. read more
