Stopped in on my way home from dinner at about 9 pm last night and had had the most pleasant experience. The place was quiet and clean. The three young ladies who were working and helped me were very kind and patient. I tried out a few samples before deciding on the dutch milk chocolate (delicious). I wish I knew the workers names because they deserve a personal shoutout, but they were very sweet at the registered and offered me a free pup cup for my dog. The pricing of ice cream is kind of crazy. A single scoop is $5.25 and a double is $6, but a double with two flavors is $7. I ended up upgrading to a double with two flavors and added the strawberry which was only okay. A pint is $7..... In the future I'll probably just get a pint because I did not need to eat all of that in one sitting, but of course it felt like a deal. Consumer marketing is something else. Hadn't had Graeters in a few years, but the great customer service would definitely bring me back sooner. read more

Graeter's ice cream is smooth, rich and flavorful with mouth-watering flavors. Also, Graeter's is not sickeningly sweet like so many other ice creams that use it to mask substandard flavor. I have gotten cones, shakes, sundaes or even in a cup...there is no wrong way! If the weather is nice, you can go outside and walk around Pinecrest, and if not their shop is very comfortable and welcoming. The worse service I have ever seen. I went to the store November 12 about 7pm. I had forgotten my mask my friend had his. My friend asked if the store had masks. The employee was very rude almost shouting she sells them for $5. She said I would have to step outside to look at the flavors. Giving this three stars for several reasons. The line was out the door so we were getting directed on when we could come in by an employee at the door, that's fine it was a Saturday evening. We get to the front of the line and the staff seems nice and helpful but pretty unorganized, so we order a black raspberry chocolate chip in one of the big chocolate cones so it came out to like $5 something. First, it's poorly scooped and instantly start dripping all over the cone, when we're trying to pay. Also, the system is "down" so it was cash only, no debit/credit cards - which they were only telling people once they start ordering, NOT AT THE END OF THE LINE... stupid. Next, our entire ice cream scoop tasted like mint! and I hate mint in anything that's not for freshening breathe! So I go up and ask them for a new one saying it tastes like mint and I did not order anything with mint. One employee proceeds to tell me "we don't guarantee it won't taste like mint because they're next to each other", excuse me what? I ordered a black raspberry chocolate chip ice cream not mint, what must be going through someones head to not instantly apologize and provide a new cone but to say that.
