The care my cat and I received was over and above expectations. My boy saw Dr. McElravy about a year and a half ago for persistent vomiting. After diagnostics and biopsy, we found out he has small-cell lymphoma. Dr. McElravy and her team are outstanding, empathetic and kind. We need more people like them in this field. I too, am a registered Veterinary Technician and appreciate them beyond words.

Our experience at Grady's was not only the worst veterinary experience of our lives, it was the worst customer experience we have ever had with any business. There is not enough space to list all of the things that went wrong with Grady's so we are actually launching a website/blog to detail what happened, and to ensure that Grady's can never do this to another unsuspecting pet owner in the Cincinnati area ever again. The TL:DR is that Grady's failed on every level, from intake to communication, price gouging, treatment blunders and last but definitely not least, customer service. They were the rudest, most clueless and most unprofessional people I have ever had to deal with. We thought our dog was going to die in their care. We are currently pursuing legal action for the damage Grady's caused in this situation. These people are straight from the pits of Hades. I can not understate just how bad our experience at this hospital was. I will not place the link here, because I don't want the review to be removed, but I am certain that a web search or social media search will lead anyone reading this to our new blog and our story detailing our experience at this absolute sham of a veterinary clinic. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR PET!!!

I am writing this update as my pup is in recovery from an emergency surgery. Saturday, mid-day, I could tell something was wrong. I rushed my standard poodle to Grady and explained to the receptionist what was happening. Before event asking my name, she yelled "can someone get this dog to triage??" They took Mack back immediately and THEN got my info. They were so kind, but honest about the fact that the sudden torsion he was experiencing could kill him, but that they would do their best to save him. They moved SO quickly. Everyone was working so hard and taking the matter so seriously. They made sure I understood the risks and cost and options. After a whirlwind of phone calls, papers, and hard decisions, my husband and I decided to pay for the surgery. Grady kept my pup for 2 nights and let us come visit whenever we wanted. They brought him to a private room and gave us so much time and space with our boy. I believe that this really brightened his spirits and helped him pull through. Grady staff were communicative throughout the process and were both personable and professional. I know that we got very lucky this weekend, as not all animals survive this type of incident, but I am feeling extremely grateful that my Macklin was in Grady's hands through it all. They saved his life. We are not out of the woods yet as there could be post-surgery complications, so I wanted to write my review without bias from the outcome. (Though I am cautiously optimistic at this point!)

Our border collie/black lab mix was having a siezure at 5:00am. We called and they said we could bring him in. This dog had never had any previous medical issues at 11 years old. After Dr Shea applied medication and performed multiple tests - Come to find he had a brain tumor. We had to lay him to rest the very next day. The staff could NOT have been more professional and COMPASSIONATE! They made a terrible situation as humane as any veterinarian facility I have ever been to in over my 50 years! We HIGHLY recommend this care center!

Dr Swinney is managing my dog who has Cushings very well. She is now a less anxious, happier dog and I am thankful for him and his techs!

We love the vets here and at House Vets for House Pets (same owner). Been taking our dog to see Dr…read moreKat for over 10 years, and she is very knowledgeable. The techs are also sweet and very caring towards our dog. All staff has been nothing but friendly, helpful, and thorough when it comes to the health and well-being of our dog. It is easy to get an appointment here or at their other location and at Rover the Rhine, they also have weekend hours. The only downside we've run into (and hence 4 and not 5 stars) is that our dog has gotten older and to get her medication anywhere outside of their preferred (usually more pricey) pharmacy is impossible. You can get a written Rx but no online pet pharmacy will take it because it's not faxed from the office (note: you can mail it in but if the script isn't given weeks in advance you run the risk of your dog going without medication for some time). They also refuse to call in the Rx so it's slightly annoying. Thus, if you are one who likes price shopping for your pet's medications, taking your pet here for care is not an option if you choose to use their vet services. It's really unfortunate because we love going here but since we suspect our pet will need more meds as she gets older, we might have to reconsider our options.

This review is only based on their veterinary services as I haven't used any of their other…read moreservices. Overall, the experience has been very good. My pomsky puppy has had several appointments so far to get all of his puppy vaccines, neutering and microchipping. The staff has always been very kind and responsive to any questions/concerns I had. Cost of services is consistent with industry standards and they take the appropriate safety precautions such as performing bloodwork to ensure your pet is safe to undergo anesthesia. That option isn't always provided at all clinics which is very concerning. I would recommend them to others and plan to have them continue to provide excellent care to my pup in the future!
