As a working mom with an infant, I reached out to Grace Home Cleaning for some cleaning assistance. I have a 3bed, 3bath (3/4, 1/2, and a powder room) 1900sq foot home, but I let them know my priorities were cleaning the bathrooms and the baseboards in the bedrooms and main living areas. I ended up choosing the 3.5 hour clean so make sure these priorities could be taken care of with hopes that maybe one or two other tasks from a prioritized list could be done in that time period. After Monday's cleaning, I will say that the bathrooms look very nice, but that seems to be the only thing that got done. I'm not sure how that would have taken the entire 3.5 hours, as two of the bathrooms are seldom used, very small, and mostly already clean. She noted that she dusted the drop zone (a small bench) which is nice, but it was not an area of the house on our list to be cleaned. I was upset that I essentially paid $200 to have my bathrooms cleaned, so I left that feedback to the company. I will say I was very impressed with the quick, kind response and offer to have the cleaner come back for 2.5 hours the next day. During that 2.5 hours session, she noted that she touched up the bathrooms she had previously cleaned, cleaned the baseboards upstairs in the bedrooms and vacuumed, and cleaned the baseboards in the hallway/stairs to our kitchen. Do these areas look great? Yes! But I'm at a loss at how, in six hours of cleaning, the majority of my kitchen and the entirety of the living room were untouched. We have been debating hiring a cleaner for a monthly or quarterly cleaning, but we will not be continuing with Grace Home Cleaning. read more

Makenna with Grace Home Cleaning was (early) punctual, reliable, and trustworthy. She was very easy to work with and very comfortable to communicate with. The people I came in contact with were very professional and the staff were very friendly and courteous. Makenna took pride in her work and wanted to do quality work. I signed up for a Spring Cleaning and they were able to remove some hard water stains from my bathroom shower that I hadn't been able to (which was driving me crazy)! Was supposed to be there between 2:30 and 3:00 pm. Did not show up till 4:00 pm, what they got "cleaned" was a joke, it was not even a deep cleaning. I could have done more in the time they were here then the two ladies they sent, quality of the clean was poor and communication left room for improvement. I would give zero stars. They didn't clean anything. Owners are unresponsive- beware. I called to let them know that they DID NOT CLEAN and they said they would come back for a discount. We provided a list to them and they didn't clean the floors or bathroom! They said woman spent an hour and a half on a clean refrigeratorI will post pictures. Update: after sending the pictures they came back and actually cleaned as expected and I was not recharged as pictures were proof of the work not done and the company made it right. read more

We sought out Grace Home Cleaning once we found out we were expecting because we knew we would need assistance keeping things clean once a little one arrived! Even in the pandemic, they have been thorough and have taken measures to make us feel safe. They also worked with us to help create a cleaning schedule that best fit our needs. Emily is kind and very easy to work with. I also love that it's a family and veteran-run business. Emily and her dad Kevin make you feel welcome from the very beginning. You can tell that their employees feel that way also: That it's a family. Any issues that I've ever had (a missed bathroom, miscommunication on appointment time) were corrected immediately. They were not big issues to us at the time and I told Emily that, but each time she insisted on making it right immediately. Had Grace Cleaning out to our home for the first time earlier this week. Sarah represented her company in an outstanding way. She was friendly and listened to the specific requests my wife left. Our children and my wife are sensitive to smell, so we requested unscented cleaners. Another request was to use our vacuum. Both of these requests were met with ease. My daughter just hired them today to clean a 2 bedroom apartment. All they cleaned was the kitchen and master bathroom. There were two people in the apartment from this company. This is a small apartment. These cleaners were in there for 2 1/2 hours. Charged my daughter $140.00. Do not hire this company. That's highway robbery. It doesn't take long to clean a 2 bedroom apartment. Very upset. read more

READ THE FINE PRINT! You will get an email that says your deposit is not refundable. Of course, you are provided with this information AFTER you pay the deposit. Very unethical practice. I cancelled services more than a month prior to the scheduled cleaning and grace cleaning refused to refund the $200 deposit. Circumstances are irrelevant. I have no need for a move out cleaning because I'm not moving out. Doesn't matter. No refund. IMO, this is 'legal stealing.' read more

I had been with them for years. Had a few problems here and there. Invest in hidden nanny cams like I do, for sure. Got a random call, with no notice, that they are suddenly short staffed and I'm being taken off the schedule. That's it. They would do a good job and always left my house smelling clean and looking decent but they never did quite as good as I felt I would have done myself but I always chalked that up to me being super picky. About a week and 4 or 5 phone calls back and forth later I was told in a conversation that took place today (November 1st) that they couldn't guarantee my apt. on the 23rd because they need to worry about rescheduling their reoccurring customers around Thanksgiving week. Not only are they incredibly disorganized, being that days later I still haven't been scheduled or given a price quote, but they also don't care about you unless you're reoccurring I guess. I only needed an empty house cleaned for renters to view. Should be a pretty easy and straight forward job, but being that it's taking longer to get it scheduled than to clean it, I'm moving on to a different company that treats customers equally. read more
