I was pleased to find a service that would offer all of the type of housekeeping details. I was looking for in the Molly Maids website. After a telephone conversation and a walk-through of the area to be cleaned, we agreed upon pricing, and my service was scheduled. My first visit to ladies came out and offered the deep cleaning service. I would expect with every visit. The next visit the same, two ladies came out and did an average job and left before I had an opportunity to walk through the area, and I was a little disappointed that somethings were left, either undone, or simply not cleaned at all. The third and final visit the ladies were at my house for less than an hour and left without cleaning floors, stove, toilets, etc. and I decided to move on from using their services. While I was offered the opportunity to have the crew come back another day. My schedule didn't allow for it and I was a little frustrated with the whole experience. I would suggest that you tread lightly if you use the service and ensure that expectations are clarified, including not leaving before a joint inspection of work is completed. read more

They are continually on time, thorough, and respond to any feedback given from the previous visit. We have cleaning team five. Their prices are comparable to other cleaning services we searched for monthly and bi-monthly cleanings. I've been using their cleaning services for a little over a year now. They're not the cheapest, but they are insured and reliable. The team that comes to our home (I think it's Team 8?) are polite, friendly, and very good with our dogs. They wonderfully tolerate our yappy chihuahua. Sometimes, they do a better job than other times. Like sometimes I'll notice that they'll miss cleaning areas of our floor, or the inside of our microwave. But I can take care of it within a few minutes, not a big deal. read more

Great cleaners, good value, horrible customer service, specifically the lady that answers phone calls. Also; I've been overcharged because the maids decided to take a lunch break in my driveway while being on the clock. I've also had makeup disappear and things thrown away that were very important, so I've complained to Leanne about these things. And in return she has been AWFUL and rude and patronizing to me. My elderly parents moved out of their apartment and it was to say the very least a filthy mess. The 2 girls who came in did an absolutely wonderful job in cleaning it up. I called this service because I moved to any area where my prior cleaning service was not available. When I set up the appointment for an estimate for my regular cleaning, I told the employee that I had hard wood floors that could not be wet mopped and that I was fitting the estimate appointment in my schedule. Neither of these seemed to pose an issue. Based on the customer service of the employee, I felt positive about the company as a whole. I left work to meet the individual for the estimate and he was about 10 minutes late (he did call) and then he sat in the drive for almost another 5 minutes. During that time, I had to call and reschedule a work appointment as I would not be able to make the time due to the lateness of his arrival. When he finally got to the door I let him know that I only had about 10 minutes left and where would he want to start. He did apologize for being tardy and asked about the area to be cleaned. I started with the entry/hall way as it was where we were standing and the hard wood. I indicated that it could not be wet mopped at which point he told me that I would have to provide my own cleaner (because he "couldn't go out and by something special for every person" - repeated two different times -- hmmm... never had a cleaning company ask me to provide the cleaning solution, regardless of floor type). I responded that I didn't care what the brand of the product was but it simply had to be for unsealed hard wood floors -- again he told me that he couldn't provide something special.... I told him that I found that odd and it didn't sit well - his response/solution was to tell me "Well, I can leave right now if you want me to -" So, it only made since to let him know that was a good idea -- based on his tardiness, clipped attitude and lack of customer interaction skills it sounded like a good idea to not have him or someone from his company inside my house on a regular basis when I wasn't there to supervise. I am giving at least two stars as the individual answering the phone was pleasant. read more

As an update to our very poor experience with Molly Maids, I NEVER heard from the ladies in the local office. I did, however, receive prompt, apologetic and very professional emails from the corporate office. They did give my sister one free hour of service to complete the initial cleaning projects which took place yesterday. The ladies spoke English, which was helpful in communicating the special tasks my sister wanted accomplished, and they worked very hard during the time they were there. She was very satisfied and that made me happy since this was a gift from me. That is all I asked for from the beginning! I am still very disappointed in the way the local office handled/mishandled the situation but corporate was very helpful in resolving it and I am glad it is behind us. read more

I have been using Molly Maids for over a year. Usually about once a month. I have skipped a few months in between when I forgot to call and didn't want to give short notice to schedule. I didn't think that was fair to them. When they first started they were amazing. They did a great job and did what ever I asked. I have a three story house so I would always have them clean the main level and then either up stairs or down stairs. I think there was only one time where I asked then to do parts of all three levels. They were always able to get everything done in two and a half hours. The last few times they have sent new people which slows down the process and the work was not as great as it had been in the past. The last time the crew they sent were so slow it took them two hours to clean the upstairs alone so needless to say they didn't finish. When I tried to discuss this with the office staff, I was treated very rude by people who do not understand customer service at all. They weren't even able to have a polite conversation about my issues or try to see things from my point of view. So I can only assume they do not need my business. Worst customer service I have ever received! I recently bought a house and wanted to have it professionally cleaned before we moved in. I emailed for a quote and got a call within minutes to discuss what services I was needing. I gave the specs of the home and I was told that my home would take 2-3 hours to clean. I received many emails confirming the appointment. I informed them that we would need them to be done around noon because we were having the carpets cleaned and I was told that should not be a problem. Due to time constraints I was unable to get into my new home until the day of the cleaning. I met 2 cleaners at the home around 8:30 in the morning. The house was completely empty and ready to move in other than needing to be cleaned. My husband and I walked the 2 women around the house telling them what needed to be done and what not to do. We specifically told them not to worry about the carpet due to the carpet cleaners coming later in the day. We really wanted the kitchen cleaned and explained how to the women. We left the home and they told us they would call when done. By noon we still hadn't gotten a call and were done with our errands to return to the house. Upon arrival we found that out of the three floors they finished the basement (which doesn't have a lot in it) and were still working on the top floor. They had not even touched the main floor. I was upset since he carpet cleaners were to show up any minute and I didn't want them stepping on each other as they cleaned. I went upstairs to find them vacuuming the floors (which I had specifically told them not to do). I called Molly Maids and spoke to a woman who said she wouldn't charge me for more than 3 hours since that is what the quoted me in the beginning. I was ok with that and let the women continue to work. They were there for 7 hours!! When they were done they started to pack their car and was about to get in when I reminded them we needed to pay. They took the payment and my husband felt bad for them being there so long so he tipped them $60.00. I went into the house and found that several things had not been done. When I had called earlier I was told they were probably taking so long because they had blinds they needed to clean. Upon going through the house I found they didn't touch one blind. There were rooms that you couldn't tell they were there at all. My friend and I had to clean the entire kitchen ourselves as none of it was don't other than the floors. They sprayed oven cleaner in the oven before they started and didn't even wipe it out before they left. There were fans and light fixtures that were covered in dust. Not cleaned at all. I cant even tell you how much I ended up cleaning myself in the end. I proceeded to take pictures so I could email management. I emailed saying how unsatisfied I was and the next day got a call. The woman I spoke to was very rude. Told me that the home was filthy and said that I misled them on the condition of my home. I didn't even tell them anything about the condition of my home since I had not even stepped foot into it until the morning of the cleaning. Please keep in mind that I didn't ask for a thing from them in the email. It was basically a matter of principal. She continued to be rude and blamed me for the situation. So rude in fact that I ended up hanging up on the woman. I am so incredibly displeased with Molly Maids and have spread the word to everyone I know. I work for a company where customer satisfaction is our number one concern and I would be appalled if any of our employees treated our customers with such disrespect and rudeness. We had every intention of having Molly Maids do a monthly regular cleaning of our home but there is no way that I would even allow them in my home at this point. read more
