We visited Traveler's Rest from Greenville for a quick brunch and found Bridge City Coffee. You're…read morewelcomed immediately with what looks like a vintage coffee shop. The orange gives it a seventies feel while the exposed wood makes you feel like you're truly in the mountains. They were playing 70s southern rock when we entered which made me smile, you don't find that often but it made the experience all the better. Their coffee was amazing and you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. What really stood out to me was their beans for purchase. Every coffee producing country you could think of with multiple washes. I love that they roast their beans so often so you aren't getting a dry and lifeless ground. The honey washed Colombian el silencio has to be my favorite bean I've tried thus far. Hoping they start doing coffee cuppings of their beans. We'd make the trek up from Atlanta any time they do, they're that good!!

We found out the place after asking ChatGPT what the best coffee spot in the area is. I got the Dublin, in hindsight I should've got a photo of the menu but just know the coffee had butter in it! so you know it was good! I'm not even a coffee person to be fair but it was like just a touch sweet and then regular coffee with milk (I assume?) a drink that was served hot. It was very tasty. Usually if I get coffee I get the unique thing that is overly bitter and has me regretting my choice but this was IT. I wanted one to-go it was so good but I'm quite sensitive to caffeine so I didn't go overboard as much as I wanted to My lady got some sorta cranberry coffee with lemon nitro cold brew thingy, served over ice. She enjoyed it too. It was definitely an interesting flavor, very unique. It was not for me but my girl lives for those type of notes!! Also a 'funny' incident, the lovely woman who took our order was like "would you like it here or to-go" and I looked around and they only had one table that was occupied I was looking confused for a moment like where would we even gooo but there's a whole upstairs and it was so homey and giving community vibes because there was already like 3 parties up there! And ofc there's some outdoor seating but it's 100F so we ain't even consider allat ‍ In all, high recommend and going to be stopping by on my next trip to Seneca. Expect us back in mid to late July y'all

It is not a person . As we walked in we noticed the place was kind of busy and extremely well taken care of ( didn't notice the life size dummy in the corner) The young lady that helped us was extremely good humored and friendly . Especially after I noticed the life size dummy . Coffee was better than average but I forgot to get mine 1/2 sweet (my bad) she offered to remake my drink but I refused due to it being my fault . My wife really liked her drink . Both drinks had unique flavors , I got mine decaf and hers regular . Now that I know about Cotton Duck I will stop in when I go to the plant nursery down the road . I have yet to try any of the food but the experience so far has all be good .
