I recommend Pelvic Therapy and Fitness whole-heartedly! When I delivered my son in January, he was…read moresunny side up and I felt something was wrong right after giving birth. My pelvic floor was in so much pain, and in the hospital, I couldn't even walk to the in-room bathroom. Long story short, I ended up having Symphysis Pubis Diastasis (separating my pelvis) 30 mm which is apparently major.
Because I couldn't walk, go up or down stairs, or get in and out of a car easily, I started at Pelvic Therapy and Fitness when I was about 1.5 months postpartum and I'm SO glad I did. Sapna was able to help me with everything for my initial appointment, and she checked everything with my insurance which was extremely helpful. They worked with my schedule for booking appointments and were flexible when I had to change some appointments.
I saw Rucha mostly, and she is absolutely amazing! She made me feel comfortable right from the first appointment, and she made three goals for me to work toward as I went through my PT journey. After 9 sessions, I graduated from PT because I met or exceeded all of my goals, and I was actually sad when I did because I truly enjoyed going to PT so much. It never felt like a chore, but it was honestly fun despite the hard work. I know I wouldn't feel as amazing as I do now if it wasn't for these amazing PTs and this practice.
For those who are looking to book, depending on your availability, you might sometimes get different PTs, but I promise they are all so nice and helpful. They each gave me different techniques/skills to practice and all have different specialties or routines which is helpful, too! Throughout my time here, I saw Sapna, Colby, and Rucha (but since I started with Rucha, I tried always scheduling with her!)
Seriously, I thank these ladies so much for showing me the importance of Pelvic Floor Therapy, and now I have techniques to help me in the future, too! If I get pregnant again, I'll definitely come here during pregnancy so I could try to avoid another major separation haha!
