I went inside and told them they had drawn me in at their advertised price but the the pump price was higher. The man I spoke to had no power to do anything and said someone had gone out to change the outside sign. I said I still expected to pay only $2.75 since that was what was advertised at the time I drove in. A woman named Karrie came in and the man told her what I had said. She said, with tons of arrogant attitude, "You'll either pay $2.80 a gallon, or you won't be buying gas here." She then pressed the button that changed the sign outside. I told her that that policy was both "bait and switch" AND false advertising and that I would be reporting her to the Attorneys General office, the local chamber of commence and placing negative reviews of the store and of Karrie's attitude in particular here and elsewhere so others can avoid them. Note to the store: If you are in the process of changing a price upwards, you change the outside sign FIRST, then change the pumps to match. You DON'T change the pump price upward while the outside sign conveys a lower price. False advertising. Illegal. Don't buy here. Patronize the Shell station across the street instead. I won't be back to this Super America again.

A very convenient store in (or if your being technical- near) the skyway!…read more I personally go here to get my junk food fix during the week. They have ice cream (ice cream truck- individually packed options) energy drinks, soda, chips, coffee, fresh donuts (delivered daily), candy, greeting cards, and so much more. They also have a microwave, which is nice if you buy a packaged breakfast sandwich or something that needs to be warmed up. It's a small store but they have A LOT! Prices are the same as shopping at any other corner store or gas station. I love that they are open early (usually around 630). The store is always clean and organized. Staff are super friendly and nice. Just outside of the store they have seating via wooden table and chairs or just downstairs couches, more tables and chairs. They prefer you use cash but they do accept cards.

LOLBVVS The staff continue to change, but all are personable and professional. I do have my favs, but I hardly see them as much any more. The store continues to try different items for us to try out, which I appreciate. They've also encouraged us to use cash by giving a discount to patrons who utilize cash vs credit cards. Their prices can be a little high at times, but I chop it up to the convenience of having a convenience store within our work building and not having to run up the block to Target, since they relocated Walgreens down a few blocks.

Another hole-in-the-wall. A deli inside a grocery store. This neighborhood is known around the city…read moreas Little Somalia because of the population of that community that resides here. The decor leaves much to be desired, then again, It is a deli inside a convenience store. Never had the expectation of finding a very well designed table linen establishment. The food is decent. I have only had to stop few times after much drunken stupor at Palmer's Bar or after a show at the Cedar Cultural Center. The Sambusas are good. The Gyros and Falafels are okay. They also have frozen burgers on the menu. This neighborhood like some of the others in the city has a reputation for being "Sketchy" and It has all to do with the fact that most of these residents are Africans or Native Americans. You know, the kinda people that look nothing like the residents of Milaca, Minnesota or the rest of the state. And of course what is fueling this perception more is having those scary kids in the neighborhood with the complicated finger gestures, the ones with the saggy pants to their ankles showing off their Gangsta Scooby-Doo and Ned Flanders underwear themed when they lean over the counter to order. Yes, those sketchy kids. Tip: Order what you want at the Deli. They will give you the receipt to pay at the grocery checkout.

They're open pretty late, so if you're out drinking in the Cedar-Riverside area, this is the place to go for gatorade and cigarettes. They also sell homemade Somali treats like sambusa, which are like samosa or empanadas. Spicy, beef-filled balls of goodness. My friend Joe bought one for two bucks and was like "This is the best thing ever!" He ate the whole thing, too, which was kind of awesome since we had been eating all evening (pizza at Punch's, pierogies at Kramarczuk's, hummus platter at Arcadia's). Overall, a decent convenient store with friendly staff and interesting home-made goods.
