Very disrespectful when I called because the tow truck was an hour late to meet me, yelled, "it's on it's way" and hung up on me. Answered the phone saying "Dispatch" no company name or anything and then hung up. Lied, the tow truck was not on it's way, thus the phone call from the woman at the tow company who was trying to explain the circumstances...him, the owner, yelling in the back ground for me to "leave my "fkn" keys under the seat" - in downtown Halifax, NS!! and continuing to yell over the woman on the phone with me to give him "the fkn phone". Then doesn't pick up my keys from my residence because truck wasn't on its way after all, until 9 pm. Then my car wasn't delivered to the shop by the next morning - it was sitting at the tow truck lot! Losing a day of service by the repair shop. C&L were being paid by the insurance company and whatever they charged they should not be paid. Owner was rude, lied, swore, yelling over a poor woman at his own company. I told the insurance company there should be a wellness check on her by the way he sounded, treating her. DO NOT EVER hire them as your tow, people like him should not be in the business of serving the public.

He had my work order right next to the secretary when I walked in and said what I needed and that it was back ordered. Had my truck for 3 1/2 months and gave me it back without the MVI done and it being undriveable....He told me all I needed for MVI was two rear tires in October when mvi was up. I dropped tires off and the next 5 calls I made to him the secretary kept saying she didn't know the mvi needed to be done. 5 times in a row! Upon thrm saying my truck was ready for pickup, ai asked if thr MVI was done. He gave me a list of 10 things that needed to be done for MVI and my truck was not road safe! He took my wheel spacers off because he didnt have the right wheel lugs, without asking me now I have to pay someone to put them back on. He also put the wheels on the front when he told me it was the rear that needed changing. This clown also gave me my two rims back with the old tires still on the rims!!! Ill have yo pay someone to take them off as they arent usable. AVOID THIS SHOP. After taking the vehicle they had for 3 months to another mech for the the mvi he said there was so much frame rot he couldn't believe Gary would have takrn my $1400 for the coolant lines just to have a truck thats a write off. They lied to me, ignored endless calls, never set expectations for work needed for MVI, lied about the MVI, took advantage of me and literally gave me a unroad safe vehicle after taking my money.

As per my previous review I did go back for a recall, but that didn't go well either. I almost went back recently but now will never go back. Online, I told them that I have a water leak into the trunk and back seat. Without seeing the car, they tried to upsell me on an alignment ($100 or more) and a 'routine' service 4 ($550 or more!). When I called their service manager Allison Drummon about the upsell, she seemed to think it was appropriate. I told her I'd never be back and would spread the word that people should avoid this place like the plague!

Never see a place treated a frequent customer with such disrespect. The technician said "if it was my decision I would just give you a new piece", right in front of me. He knew it was caused by a poor installation. Don't recommend this place and I'm not putting my feet there ever again. Nobody should be treated as a liar. Have been getting exhaust fumes in my car since at least december. Dealership failed to properly diagnose at least 2 times. After my diagnosis proved the rear door is not sealing/closing all the way. They were about to work on the driver door when I dropped the car off. Still getting exhaust fumes inhaled by me/passengers every drive. Hybrid battery air intake is also inhaling the road salt, moisture, and cold air nearly directly into the hybrid air intake. The battery will be ruined and the car is worth nothing if moisture and salt is detected past the air intake filter. They will refuse to provide a loaner car even if you tell them you're very concerned about your pregnant wife inhaling these exhaust fumes too. They will not provide you a loaner car after they agree with you that the REAR door is not sealing properly. Currently freezing wet and salty air are entering the car as I write this review. Oregans Toyota Dartmouth has offered zero apologies. Toyota Dartmouth is only interested in your money. They do not care about your safety, health, or your vehicles health. They will face the consequences for ignoring my health concerns. They will be 100% responsible for any salt and moisture found past that hybrid battery air intake filter. This could cause my battery to fail at any time. The dealer will not disclose that they did anything to address the exhaust fume issue after spending a whole day of "diagnosing" the exhaust fume issue. They spent 3 hours with my car on idle, heat on full blast with ac and be excited to tell you that they didnt find any moisture afterwards. When you ask the manager how does this identify the exhaust fumes entering the car ? They will become pissy and rage at you for calling out that they wasted the whole day of diagnosis on something that wouldnt fix the problem. This is after telling them that their corolla hybrid (brand new) had much less wind noise then mine (same car mine just had more km). I told them this at 9am the same day of that service and they dont begin service till 930am. The manager said "you only told us that 6 hours ago". Yeah and you wasted all 6 of those hours on something you knew wouldnt solve the problem. So even after giving them the proper identification that its a wind intrusion problem, they will continue to waste time focusing on diagnosis they know will lead to nothing. Good sales team. Worst auto service in all of canada. My whole family drives Toyota. I love the car. I cannot feel safe driving the car and am reminded of the awful service every time I inhale exhaust fumes. Making me miss my 2014 Honda accord. That car had zero warranty problems for me. The added stress of having to deal with this dealership's service has made me lose all trust in this dealership. I have lost trust in the vehicle itself now that it has been poisoned by this awful service team. I am worried my hybrid battery will be damaged. I am worried I could pass out behind the wheel when I get smoked out with exhaust. If you want your car treated right. This is the last place I would take it for auto service.

Absolute Con Artists they deliberately lied to me in an…read moreattempt to steal a thousand dollars from me. took my car for an MVI inspection and they told me it failed and would cost about $1000 to pass, i was suspicious as a number of the things they sited as causing it to fail are not even on the MVI check list i showed their report to another mechanic who said every thing they had put in their report would not justify failing an MVI and that i should get it inspected again elsewhere. took it to a third mechanic without showing them the initial report to ensure i got an honest inspection, they passed the car immediately without any work needing to be done. when i showed them the report from mcniells they also agreed that nothing in the report was a fail on an MVI inspection and that specifically some of the things that MCneills said were broken were in perfectly operable condition and there is no way they could have mistakenly believed it needed to be repaired. IN OTHER WORDS THEY 100% LIED IN ORDER TO EXTORT MONEY FROM ME! do not under any circumstances take your car here, i am genuinely shocked an appalled that they so brazenly attempted to rip me off. for the sake of complete transparency McNiells did say that my DRLs were not working and that they were a fail on MVI, this is true, however it was a matter of simply installing new light bulbs and they wanted $120 of labour just to determine why the DRLs werent working so that wouldnt have even included putting new bulbs in.
