Check out Ellicor gifts. Grab a basket and fill it up with sweet or savory treats. The chicken flavored spicy Doritos are so yummy and surprisingly addictive. They also have Pokemon pops, fruit jellies and a candies. Need hair care products? Love the & Honey Precious Milky Set. Perfect for intense moisture repair and it smells so good! (I did stock up on these from Don Quijote in Japan.) Not sure what to get? Try a blind box or a grab bag. That's what I did. Nice to have a bunch of random treats that were perfect for the Lunar New Year/Mardi Gras/Valentine's Day bags that I made for my staff. Gotta love the diversity that makes H-town so unique. Domo Arigato. Kamsahamnida. What a great find off Bellaire. (Good luck with the limited parking.)

Diho Square is a good outdoor mall there with a very large anchor grocery store, plus numerous restaurants. Their large Paris Baguette Bakery is a must stop for coffee, tea and especially pastries.

It was amazing to watch it grows. Back in January, I was here to gather information for my February UYE. Then Covid-19 restaurant lockdown started in March. The mall already started renovation project. It was kind of perfect timing while construction going on with businesses closed. The only inconvenience was to those customers going in and out of few restaurants during months of March to May. After restaurants allowed to reopen in late May, construction on the buildings was near completion. In June, store signs were installed. I was here to audit restaurants to share updates on Facebook of which ones open and if pickup, delivery and/or dine-in. Going to one business at a time, every month during the summer. Time consuming but fun to meet newbies to Diho Square. My final audit was in October. I was waiting to see if they are replacing the famous clock tower. I only learned about this imaginary structure from its social media in November. News media already been here with film crews. Yeah. I have to see it in action. Overall, Diho Square has brought many brand name restaurant chains to compete with Bellaire Food Street for another fun place to dine, shop and dessert.
