Came across this place while looking for a lunch spot after our hike at Devil's Punchbowl. What a delightful little spot! The owners are French, so the cuisine has a flair of Mexican and French fusion. Their chamomile lavender iced tea was delicious and refreshing. The Korean BBQ taco was flavorful and delicious. The ultimate burger was amazing. The Avi dessert was the perfect finish to a delicious lunch. Plus their son Avi was there and he was so kind and friendly to our kids while we were eating out lunch. We were out in the Pearblossom area and had been looking to give this place a try. We were not disappointed! (I had the opportunity to taste their food a couple months ago when the business donated to victims of a fire event.) I had the Shrimps on Fire and Chicks Asian style taco combo. The Shrimp on fire and cole slaw came out first and both were absolutely fantastic. Although the Shrimp on Fire taco shows two red peppers on the menu, they could have left those off because there was only a hint of spice to them. I was told to add some of the table sauce if it wasn't hot enough. I've never had noodles in a taco before but what a delight this taco was. The Chick Asian Style was server as I completed ther first taco. This was too very good, served with rice rather than noodles, and all cooked perfectly. Both tacos were large and very full. The serving of cole slaw was larger than I would expect, and tasted fantastic. We tried the home-made peach tea and loved it. It wasn't too sweet and peach flavor was not overpowering. What a delight this small restaurant is. We'll certainly stop in again every chance we get. read more

The 'burger taco' was a 10 out of 10,hard to explain,for dinner I invited my Wife and when we got there,the Hostess plugged in a small heater near us and put on some light music. Cozy little place to eat. I forgot what my Wife had! I had a burger with melted munster,tomato and pesto,amazing care in all the foods prep. You definitely need to stop at this gem if you are passing through the area. The inside was very clean and new feeling. I was greeted by one of the owners who was so wonderful! She talked me through the menu & I ordered the burger. It was delicious! They don't cook any frozen food and everything is made fresh! Best croissants I've ever tasted! I bought a chocolate and regular croissant and they were unreal. What I love most is that I can order ahead of time by calling or texting (661) 227-2396. The owner Maggie even knows me by name when I call and is able to accommodate my special requests. The food is fresh and tastes so delicious. So far, I've loved everything I tasted and highly recommend this place. They recently renovated, and there's indoor seating that's very quaint and reminds me of a french cafe. As passing by "Gourmet Tacos" as I do everyday, I realized, they should rename it to "Quirky Tacos" cuz there's nothing "gourmet" about it, its just unappetizing, and unmatching flavors assembled into a taco. They have a huge Eiffel Tower in front to make you believe you're getting French food or gourmet French taco fusion of some sort but it is highly misleading. There is nothing French about the food at all whatsoever. Only the owner is French. That does not make this gourmet at all. Very annoying. There's is nothing French food and the tacos aren't even gourmetly made ingredients at all whatsoever. Someone needs to call them out for false advertising. I'll eat here when they actually are gourmet tacos with house made fresh tortillas etc. Not Walmart flour basic nasty not even heated cardboard tortillas and by the way, he took ONE small tiny pickle gherkin sliced it in three pieces for my $20 taco... how cheap can you be???? So many layers of disgusting. Please close down and put a better restaurant here or please be actual French food cuz we need that out here. Magali was a great joy to converse with and the service was impeccable. The tacos were great. Id recommend their French taco. It was super good. I also recommend the ratatouille and be sure to add some hot sauce. I'll be sure to stop by here next time I travel through Little Rock. Don't go if you are expecting a Mexican style taco. Nothing available like that, but what is available is a new take on what can go in a flour tortilla.
