We stumbled upon this spot during a walk through Colmar, and it turned out to be a hidden gem in…read morethe city center. From the outside, it may look a bit unassuming--certainly not "high-end"--and the menus are quite basic. However, if you can look past that, you'll discover a place serving truly delicious and authentic North African cuisine. The owners themselves handle the service with great attention to detail. A particularly charming highlight was the owner's joy and enthusiasm; he even sang while serving tables, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that felt like dining with family. We tried the lamb couscous and chicken couscous, both served with fresh vegetables. The portions were generous, well-prepared, flavorful, and reasonably priced. We are giving 3 stars, since 4 and 5 stars we'll keep for other, more high end sophisticated restaurants. But for a well priced lunch, excellent food and great ambiance... this is a 5 stars

This time I had the pumpkin soup for a starter and the veal fillet for my main. The soup was good, very tasty. The veal was also very good, well cooked - still a bit red. The veal came with some tempura veggies that were excellently cooked, a nice crispy batter and excellent taste. I had a beer with dinner, but they have a nice selection of wine as well. They had a small selection of deserts. I tried a few And they were all very nice. It's a very nice restaurant and it was all very tasty, but for the price I expect a bit more.
