Even for airport food it was dodgy. Undercooked chips and an awful barbecue dip. Might have been better going to Burger King in terminal 2. Wouldn't even try their other outlets. read more

Came to Dublin and a friend told me about this bubble waffle ice cream place so of course I had to…read morego. I did have a bit of trouble finding it because the sign for the place is SO SMALL!! Spent maybe about 20 minutes walking around until I finally spotted it. I've added a picture so maybe it'll be easier for everyone who sees this. They have many different flavors for the bubble waffle but since I'm a chocolate person, I went with the chocolate dream. I would NEVER pay $10 American dollars for ice cream but this one is worth every penny! The waffle was made to order and I got to see him make the waffle and the rest of the cone. And when I say this thing is huge, it's HUGE!!!! Definitely got my $10 worth! Haha!! The taste......20 out of 10!! The waffle was so soft and fresh. The chocolate ice cream.....no words for how good it was. I'm not usually a fan of other flavors but this actually makes me wanna give the other ones a try. I strongly suggest making a stop here and getting a bubble waffle. I promise it'll be the best $10 you'll ever spend!!!!!
The place is primarily a waffle/crepe, milk tea, and desserts front, and we did had a good bowl of…read moresweet milk with jelly and taro balls. But read carefully and you can see two stores in one place: Bubble Waffle Factory (for the sweets and milk tea) and Street Food Factory (for savory options). The street food menu consists of a small but signature menu of beef brisket, beef tripes, and wonton noodle soup. And as a Cantonese, I had to say the quality exceeded my expectations. The beef briskets and beef tripes were braised thoroughly, super tender, rich flavor of spices and seasoning, while the texture of respective parts remained spot-on. The broth base also had great flavor. Portion size was good for the price. For the wontons, they were a bit smaller than the ones I had in another Cantonese place, and they seemed to have small or no shrimp inside, but the intense flavor of minced pork and the bouncy texture suggested the stuffing was of great quality, and the wrap was thin enough to melt in the mouth while also resilient enough to keep the wonton intact. My only wish would be that the noodles would be less runny and bouncier. But overall, I was very satisfied with this place.

Some well travelled friends told us to make sure to have ice cream in each Irish city we visit in…read moreIreland. There were right! You won't find common flavors on the menu at Murphys. Each flavor is special. We got the Dingle Sea Salt and Irish Brown Bread and both were excellent! Very different flavors and the ice cream itself is creamy and rich in flavor. You can choose from cup or cone - we went with the cone since it's made in house. Severs are very friendly and allow you to sample the flavors. There can be a line but it moves along nicely - plus you kind of need time to sample and figure out what you want to get. Highly recommend if you're in Dublin!

I decided to get a small cup of their raspberry cheesecake and it was so packed with flavor and delicious. I also loved the mini waffle they served with it! It gave a nice balance of flavors! This place is so cute and decadent. The atmosphere reminds me of a quaint coffee shop (which, I…read moresuppose, it is). I went here for breakfast and ordered their Irish Porridge with seasonal fruit, cream and toasted almonds along with a blueberry scone (can't visit a tart shop and not order a dessert). The porridge was huge. There was no way that I needed both the porridge and the scone but when in Dublin... It was creamy and had a great thick texture. The scone was light and fluffy and paired well with the butter and jam they give you. My only complaint was that I would have liked a larger cup of jam for my scone but only because it was so good! I would definitely go back and I highly recommend this place.

So far we have tried the Coffee & Walnut (coffee filling, coffee glaze, walnut coating) and Dubai, described as "A delightful fusion of Middle Eastern flavours, filled with crunchy, toasted kataifi pastry & rich pistachio cream topped with our handmade ganache & sprinkled with crushed pistachios!" Some of the more outlandish varieties include the Strawberries & Ice Cream Birthday Cake as well as some of the specialties for Easter, brightly decorated with bunnies, easter eggs, and the like. The coffee is very good too, prepared espresso-style (so order an Americano for a plain black coffee). Add to that reasonably prices, friendly service, a cheerful room, what more do you need? Be prepared for a moderate wait though; this place can be busy.
