I'm not usually a huge fan on the burger, but the burgers from this place are truly magnificent beasts.

Ordered the Wellington burger which was legendary and strawberry milkshake. Epic meal time!

Succulent burgers indeed! For me however the milkshakes' their selling point. I have tried Oreo, salted caramel, peanut butter and strawberry all equally yummy! They also frequently have discounts you can get from studentmoneysaver as well as their very own GBK app.

Sliced down the middle, slightly crispy and ridiculously delicious. My only regret is ordering this while in work. You have to pay for your tea or coffee but get the rest for £3.30. Take note students, sometimes there are reasons to get up before Hollyoaks. Other house specials include burgers, things with chips, things on toast, a choice of soups, and toasted teacakes. The menu is pretty massive actually, so you've plenty to choose from, and prices won't break the bank.

As you enter the market you will be greeted by the same smell of fresh fish that has filled my childhood memories of this place. There is little more that needs to be said about Donnelly's other than they give free digestive biscuits with a tea or coffee. Free digestive biscuits! Those are my three favourite consecutive words. As well as this they do some decent greasy spoon grub for the shopping-weary and hungry alike. The staff are exceptionally friendly and will make sure you feel welcome at this little café. I find it's good to take a tea break in an environment a little different from the coffee lounges that have started to appear on every street corner of the city centre. A break from another kind of break, if you like. Or not. Please yourself.

A quick glance at the menu looked promising: anywhere that includes burgers with as tongue-in-cheek names as the Bunga-Bunga usually proves a good choice. Service was pretty quick and when my burger came, I wasn't disappointed. Amazingly tender and the gorgonzola sauce on top was heavenly. The chips weren't quite as good, in my honest opinion, halfway between proper chip shop fare and fries without quite committing to either. There was a bit much in the way of lettace too and no other veg. Still, a damn good burger.

However, my partner loves it and maintains that it's amazing and begged me to give it another chance, so I did. While not as horrible as my last experience, I still don't think it warrants anything above 3 stars. ~ Food: I ordered the 'El Toro', which is what I had last time, but asked for only a little bit of hot chili as last time, my burger was drowned in the hot chili where I couldn't taste the chorizo and goats cheese. With the lesser amount of hot chili, it was a LOT better; great amount of flavour and a perfect combination. However, my burger was still reaaaaalllllly overcooked and dry. Edible and satisfying just from the good combination, but I found myself needing to drink loads of my soda to be able to handle the dryness of the burger. The chips on the other hand, were fantastic. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside - the perfect chip! It was really delicious and I would highly recommend paying the extra £3 for the combo meal to add the chips and soda to your burger - JUST for the chips! --- My partner also admitted that his burger was quite dry, but he comes here often for his lunch break and maintained to me that it wasn't always like that. Perhaps the dinner chefs are less talented than the lunch-time ones? I don't hate The Grazing Shed anymore, but I wouldn't be running back. Regardless of my partner's positive experiences, a place that is blatantly hit or miss can't go over 3 stars for me (no matter how delicious the chips are).

Well, sorry to disappoint... but it's a blue and red, plastic-fantastic fast food joint on St Mary Street in the city centre! I don't think I've ever seen anything look quite so different from the name it carries as this place! But, it's an international chain with outlets in London, Paris and NYC and so they must be getting something right! They've got nineteen outlets in London alone. According to Naeem, who works at the St Mary Street, Cardiff branch, the biggest seller is, (somewhat unsurprisingly), the deep fried chicken... so I guess that people tend to think that this is their fotre.

Well Damn you Sherlock because I wish I never bothered. It cost me about a fiver for some spicy wings, a couple of chicken strips (or something like that), chips and a medium drink. The wings were good, but there were only two of them. The chicken strips were really greasy and tasted of nothing in particular. The chips were horrible. My Fanta was alright though! Definitely drunk food though. I won't be going there again, and it was only late night hunger and the fact Chicken Cottage is 2 minutes away that drove me to it. Next time I'll walk the little bit further to Chip Alley.

It has been going for years, and has managed to hold on to its fine reputation for decent quality and value for money throughout that time. It IS rather tiny, however, so it's possible you could easily walk past and miss it - but once you've been there once for food, you'll be a complete convert. Basically, they do American fast food - mainly burgers. It's not healthy, and it's not complicated, but what they do they do very well. The belly-busting All American 1/2 pound burger with fries and a tub of blue cheese sauce seems to go down well with meat-eaters, while there's a generously proportioned veggie option for people like me who don't eat beef. They also do chicken and pizza, but to be honest if you go to Uncle Sam's it should be for a burger, because that's what they do best. Excellent value for money!

The restaurant is tiny and like other reviews have said it so easy to miss, so its beggars belief how such a small place can churn out such big and hearty portions of food. The price is ok but that is completely offset by taste of the food, as the juicy and flavourful chicken engulfs your taste buds. Of course chicken is not for everyone and they do have plenty of other dishes on the menu such as huge burgers (which have appeared to been given a real shout in other reviews) and pizza but honestly I personally think Uncle Sam's rules the roost!
