She was so extremely courteous, understanding professional, and extremely efficient. Olivia was able to coordinate a prescription refill for me in minutes. Shingles is extremely painful, and her professionalism and kindness were exceptional. The Rx and guidance helped relieve the very painful symptoms while I was on vacation. Here are my complaints (1) the staff appears to change constantly therefore whatever you have "solved" with the last group, goes right back into chaos with the new ones. (2) for the first few months they faxed for prescription refills to a number that was NOT my doctor. Then they faxed to a dr's fax that wasn't even at the right clinic. (3) They tell you your prescription has "been received". Or "come back in an hour" when it has NOT been received and has NOT been prepared. They have strange rules and regulations with regard to Alberta Health Care (when and what it will cover) and waiting periods (for a medication I have been on for almost 30 years). I discovered from my new (Calgary) pharmacy that neither philosophy (if I can call it that) was true. This pharmacy is inept in many ways.

Not the first time this has happened so asked for it to be filled and left to grab groceries. Came back still not filled yet. Jody barked at my husband and then stood there chatting. It took a further 30 mins and one of the assistants told him the reason for the delay was because it wasn't started when we asked for it to be done. Years ago we used to get gas in Canada to save money, but I think the tables are turned now and the American dollar doesn't go as far. I won't hold that against the pharmacy. They seemed to carry most everything that a typical pharmacy carries. There was a gracious lady at the counter who made a mistake in our favor and corrected herself. That was very nice. She was also very courteous. They had some winter coats there that were CAN $199. Guess you have to wait until the end of the Winter season to get some buys. Since it is off season here, I thank God that they were open because we may not be able to purchase these items in time for the wedding when we get back to the US.

They have cards for all occasions, small housewares, all of the usual drugstore stuff, some toys and games, among other things. The pharmacy was pretty quick today. They call your name over a speaker when your prescription is ready so you can browse the store while you wait. The dispensing fee today was $15.87 which is a little steep.
