Stopped by to get some makeup and a wedding card. I got sticker shock when a few items totaled CAN $50. Years ago we used to get gas in Canada to save money, but I think the tables are turned now and the American dollar doesn't go as far. I won't hold that against the pharmacy. They seemed to carry most everything that a typical pharmacy carries. There was a gracious lady at the counter who made a mistake in our favor and corrected herself. That was very nice. She was also very courteous. They had some winter coats there that were CAN $199. Guess you have to wait until the end of the Winter season to get some buys. Since it is off season here, I thank God that they were open because we may not be able to purchase these items in time for the wedding when we get back to the US. read more

This pharmacy has been around forever and in this same location. It's also your standard general store. They have cards for all occasions, small housewares, all of the usual drugstore stuff, some toys and games, among other things. The pharmacy was pretty quick today. They call your name over a speaker when your prescription is ready so you can browse the store while you wait. The dispensing fee today was $15.87 which is a little steep. read more

As a vacationing Californian, I have made multiple yearly visits to this incredible Canadian resource; it is a truly unique blend of all that used to be considered an across the board mercantile store - as well as being a trustworthy and fully accredited pharmacy. Every year, I try to imagine what I could be in need of or interested in..., that they would NOT carry in their impressive inventory of goods. Every year, I fail to find something not stocked, and that delights me. The dad and daughter pharmacists are as cordial and helpful as any I've encountered anywhere...including the U.S. and the U.K. They should be heralded and made recipients of the highest citizen awards offered by the B.C. and Canadian governments. The other employees of the store are obviously long-term, hand-picked women with whom it is a pleasure to interface, and I shall never fail to pop-in and reacquaint myself with these distinguished individuals who combine their unique talents and personalities to make their pharmacy every bit as welcoming and joyful as any I've experienced in a long, well traveled life. read more

I have been a customer with Lambert Kipp for well over 5 years. I went in with a new SunLife Drug card that carries 100% coverage after satisfaction of an annual deductible of $50. My prescription cost over $80. When questioning the amount, I was told it was a co-pay, which is not part of my plan. After discussion, it was decided I could wait until tomorrow to pick up the said prescription, I confirmed with my insurance company I do indeed have 100% coverage after deductible. I called the pharmacy this morning to discuss with the head pharmacist, who after 5 years, informed me that NEVER was a good time to come and talk to her. She had fixed the submission and I owed $50. Her excuse was that some insurance companies pay differently for insulin, trying to make my insurance company responsible for whatever error had occurred. This interaction left me appalled by the reaction I received to trying to determine the cause of my over-billing. read more
