I came in for a simple oil change last month and was told I urgently needed front and rear brakes. I agreed ONLY because they had advised me it was urgent, and unfortunately ended up paying $750 for the job (NOT including the $147 oil change) They charged $205 per set of brake pads, plus $80 for labor (front and back each) and a $135 brake fluid exchange. The problem is that my boyfriend and I looked up the brakes that were used and they retail for around $63-$72, so why I was charged $205 each? Who knows. I was obviously taken advantage of. Thankfully I have the money to be able to afford this but not everyone does and it's sad to think of all the people (women especially) who are victims of this.
