He had one of his guys here the next day and they climbed on the roof, showed me photos of the damage, and a couple of other things our roofer in 2010 never took care of. Jacob was fair with his pricing and promised to have someone out the following day once the rain had stopped. The next morning his crew showed up right on time and got to work. Four hours later my roof was fixed and in better condition than it was previously. All in all very easy experience and Jacob's workers are pleasant. They also left no mess! Highly recommend Jacob and his team to take care of your roofing needs (they do gutters, too!).

The other companies said I had to install it. Everything I read said you don't mix an attic fan with a ridgeline vent. The last company, (Brothers Aluminum) said, "We're a GAF gold installer, 25 year GAF warranty, what do you need to think about." He was so arrogant that when he left I called GAF tech line. They said "A1 Roofing is right, Brother's Aluminum is wrong. You don't mix a ridgeline vent and attic fan. We have a technical bulletin on our website." Go with A1 Roofing, I shouldn't have to become an expert on roofing systems, and neither should you. A1 Roofing knows what they're doing.

He did not reach out to explain his absence, apologize, or reschedule. The lack of communication, poor workmanship, and failure to follow through on his promise to correct the work were unacceptable.
