I don't recommend this business and here's why: First, I…read moreordered 450 sq ft of flooring from Carpets by Direct and they told me that would be 6 boxes. When my contractor started to lay the flooring he realized that we only received 230 sq ft. When I contacted them, they gave no apologies and tried to turn things around on me. They said I ordered 6 boxes -- but how would I know how many sq ft were in the boxes? Again, no apologies and they took no responsibility for their error. They said they would "split" the freight with me. What? This was not my fault. Second, when I tried to leave a review on their site, they apparently don't accept any reviews below a 4 star rating! This gives customers a distorted and untrue picture of the company. Third, don't believe that they have the lowest prices because they don't. I hope this saves future customers from the same snafu I ran into. I am in Greensboro, NC, not San Francisco.
