They assessed the job, gave us a very reasonable quote, which they honored, even though they realized when they started the flooring repair work, that the materials we had were not quite right. Fortunately they had some extra materials that were the correct color and size, and they were able to use them. Every day after, he was either late or a no-show. On the Friday that he was supposedly going to be finished, which he wasn't, he told me that he would be back the following Monday first thing in the morning around 9:30am to finish the job. He didn't show up until 11:45am. He wouldn't return my phone calls or respond to my texts when I was trying to find out what was going on. I would have been a little more understanding if he would have communicated with me but apparently he does not think communication is important in customer service. Of course, since he was so late, he didn't finish the job and told me that he would be back the next day around 1pm to finish. I arrived at the house at 12pm to make sure I was there in time. Low and behold, no surprise to me, once 2pm rolled around he still had not shown up and had not reached out to me. I texted to see if he was on his way and got no response. Finally around 3:30pm he texted me and said that he would not be coming that day. I voiced my irritation with him and told him that what I would really appreciate is better communication from him as I have been making accommodations to be at the house when I should have been in the office. Then, he had the audacity to ask if I was at home because he needed to come by and pick up some of his gear for another job. Me, being who I am, was gracious and accommodated his request and stayed at the house and waited on him. He said that he would be back on that Thursday to finish the job. Of course, no surprise, he was late again without and indication from him. He finally finished that day, but then that weekend, we noticed that the carpet on one of the corners of a step had come up. After further investigation, I realized that a lot of the carpet on the side of the stairs wasn't tacked down very well. Of course, I have communicated that to him and I have tried to get him to come out to fix it but he will not respond to any of my texts or phone calls. David's Flooring is definitely a no-go. Please don't waste your time or money, find someone else.

Easy to cut and easy to install over existing flooring, even tile. Updating my previous review to include the pic. Makes for an easy permanent DIY bathroom refresh or a temporary floor covering in just a couple hours work and hardly any money.
