He did a few extra things for us that made a big difference in how the finish of the flooring looked and we couldn't be more pleased. There are a lot of choices in flooring installers around this area and I am so glad that I picked…read moreUnique Flooring. Matt came out and gave us an estimate on the work to be done, which included leveling our slab flooring and then installation of the vinyl and laminate flooring we picked. I wanted to go seamlessly through the house so we bought vinyl plank flooring that could go in every room including the bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry since they are waterproof. Matt started to work after we agreed on a VERY FAIR rate, better than most installers. He cleaned up the floors where we had removed the nasty carpet in our newly purchased home and then leveled the floors out in the spots that needed it. After a week's work, which every day we came over to see more and more of a dramatic shift from the previous to the new, Matt finished up the work including putting down the shoe molding and edging around the fireplace. Matt's work was excellent and I highly recommend him for any projects. Trust me when I say I shop around for contractors and Matt and Unique Flooring was the absolute best choice I could not be happier with the results of his work. He is a definite master craftsman.

Andrew and the team did an awesome job on coating the garage of our new house. Out of all the…read moreplaces I called in the area, Andrew was the most knowledgeable of the products he uses as well as why he uses them. He walked me through potential moisture issues that can come up and how to mitigate them so that I get the best life out of the floor. We had a very thorough conversation of products that other competitors offer in the area and the pros and cons of them. Best of all, I believe the price they charge for the coating is extremely fair for what you get. Because I really love working in the garage and wanted the longest life of the floor possible, I opted to go with a bulletproof coating option, way more than he would recommend as well as custom color flakes picked by me. They definitely were willing to do the custom work without question. Andrew provided a sample to me and made sure I was very happy with the plan before moving forward. They installed the flooring very quickly. Best of all, my house did not smell like a chemical warehouse when all was said and done. They use very low VOC products and I was happy to personally verify that. I have had flooring done in the past by other places and some of the products that are out there can really make you regret your purchase when you smell them in your home or office. Not the case here.
