Before visiting, I had…read moreread several negative reviews mentioning disrespectful customer service and employees belittling customers. Despite those reviews, I decided to give them a chance. I called ahead to let them know I was on my way to make the purchase. I arrived shortly before closing, around 5:55 PM. As soon as I walked in, an older gentleman made rude comments about me shopping only a few minutes before closing. One younger employee was kind and tried to defuse the situation, even telling me not to listen to him because he was a "grump." I was prepared to spend over $500, but I left without buying a single plant. I understand that I arrived near closing time, but I had called ahead and expected basic courtesy and professionalism. Instead, I felt unwelcome, belittled, and as though my business was an inconvenience. Unfortunately, the negative reviews I read beforehand turned out to be accurate. I chose not to spend my money at a business that treats customers this way. Respect and customer service matter, regardless of the time of day.

The guy tried to nicely say that I'm a fool and didn't know how to start a fire. He also doesn't use a moisture meter and has no clue what the moisture content of his product is. Luckily I insisted on paying by CC as he originally insisted on cash........ plus tax? Then he offers me a $100 off. Unseasoned firewood is cheaper. We agree on him picking up the wood and giving me a full credit. He has not given me credit and it has been over two weeks! I had to start a dispute with my CC company. How do you run a reputable business this way? Brian. I wanted to like you and your product, but operating this way in my opinion is shady. People need their hard earned money to survive after this awful year. I have no doubt that if I had paid cash I would have had no recourse in this matter. Only do business with legitimate businesses that aren't scared to have reviews on their website. It's very telling and can protect consumers. Oh...... and they caused ruts in my yard by driving the oversized dump truck on the grass instead of the driveway- both times. It's all on camera Brian. This is your doing and yours to bear.

The following day, the driver (John) called me to confirm he was loading up and will be there in a few. Once he arrived he dumped the mulch exactly where I asked with perfect aim right on the tarp. The mulch itself was perfect, nice rich dark color, size was consistent and had only a tiny amount of stone in it (normal for a place that processes multiple landscape supplies). Overall I am more than satisfied with this business and look forward to purchasing from them again next season.

For the pumpkin patch alone I think this place is worth it if you live locally…read more I cannot speak for produce or previous reviews but I strolled into this pumpkin patch on a weekday and it was better than I expected. Free to enter and nary a soul. There are plenty of pumpkins around. I took some pics, I bought a cute set of tiny pumpkins for $3 and all in all had my fill of pumpkins for the fall!
