He started off acting responsible and trustworthy -- we hired him to wash five cars after Burning Man, and in the beginning, he seemed professional and reliable. However, once we paid him, everything changed. One of the cars was never cleaned at all, even though he confirmed the job was "done" and took full payment. When I confronted him, he promised to come back, asked for extra money for gas. He showed up for 5 minutes only to "wash" the sink and remove spot, however we discussed full interior detailing for the 5th car. After that, he stopped answering calls and messages. Weeks later, I called him from another number, and he picked up -- only to start arguing with me. Instead of taking responsibility, he tried to gaslight me, saying I "expected too much" and that he "gave us a low price." The reality is simple: he completely forgot about the fifth car, never washed it, and now refuses to admit it or make it right, or refund $235. I even sent him my detailed notes from the day we discussed pricing -- numbers that came directly from his own words, which I wrote down in real time. He is now trying to deny them and twist the situation. No true professional behaves this way. He broke our trust, didn't finish the work, and refused to take accountability. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone -- completely unprofessional and dishonest experience.

Him and his crew work super hard and are incredibly kind people. I love that he's local and goes out of his way to accomodate my schedule. I feel lucky every time I think how I just took a chance from an IG ad. In the two years since I got my car, I've done a 1 year and 3 year ceramic coating, the Glassparency and have had multiple maintenance car washes. I've bought washes for family and friends and everyone is wowed by the results. Look, premium services like ceramic coatings are not cheap, but I wanted to protect my car and keep it looking nice for years to come. Rene's pricing is fair and the results speak for themselves. Especially with the last couple of rainy seasons, the Glassparency was such a great investment and helps mitigate the use of windshield wipers (which personally are a pet peeve). I even spilled a huge thing agua fresca in my trunk and it left a lot of residue after I tried to get it out - Rene to the rescue!
