Our dessert order was packed in a bag too as if expecting us to take it to go. Out of awkwardness, we didn't eat it on the spot. I got the triple layer dessert because I was most interested in the coconut part of their offerings, and this would let me try all of their variations. It's supposed to be coconut water jelly and coconut milk jelly all prepared inside a coconut which also has its own coconut flesh. I can't tell if I can't differentiate the layers or my coconut really didn't have water jelly inside. I could only see/taste the milk jelly parts. The flavor and texture itself is amazing. It's super soft and melts in your mouth texture. Appreciate how they didn't overdo the gelatin (or whatever thickener they use). The coconut flavor is soft and gentle and creamy. They actually add coconut flakes on top. It's nice to have different texture but I can live without it. Or maybe they added it in place of coconut jelly to be another layer?? Having the whole coconut itself makes it feel worth to get the triple layer. However, the coconut meat isn't necessarily the most tender or sweet. They give a plastic spoon and that's barely strong enough to scrape out the flesh. I guess that's why it's better to take it home - to use a metal spoon. My conclusion is that I'd rather get the single or double layer next time. I think I want to try the double layer next so I can explicitly see the coconut water jelly layer to determine if I think it's worth to get or I should just double down on the single layer option of just coconut milk jelly. It also begs the question whether single and double layer is worth it when the triple layer comes with a whole coconut while the former two come in a glass jar. 4.5* but will put 4* until I try more and have a better conclusion.

I'm not sure if we were accidentally overcharged or if we were told the wrong price and we didn't think it through until after the transaction, but the total for the two ice creams was $24.

This isn't just a quick sweet treat; it's gelato truly made to be savored. I've loved every single flavor I've tried here - and I think I've tried them all. Personally, I lean toward strong, bold profiles. Their chocolate and chocolate hazelnut are incredibly rich and amazing, and the pistachio is absolutely heavenly. That said, their more delicate, subtle flavors like the lavender, salted caramel, and mango lassi are equally wonderful and perfectly balanced. The freshness here is unmatched. The blood orange sorbet was incredible, and while I was in the shop, I actually saw a crate of fresh blood oranges they were prepping to squeeze for the next batch. You can't get any fresher than that! On a personal note, I recently brought my elderly mother, who is in hospice care with dementia, into the shop. She had a cone with two flavors, and it was incredibly gratifying to see her smile and genuinely enjoy one of life's simple pleasures at this stage in her journey. Delini didn't just give us great dessert; they gave us a beautiful memory. Highly, highly recommended. Support this fantastic local gem!

The space is bright and modern with a casual, grab-and-go feel. It gets busy during peak hours, but the staff move efficiently and drinks come out fairly quickly. Ordering is straightforward, and there are plenty of options to adjust sweetness and ice levels to your preference. The menu leans heavily into fresh fruit teas, milk teas, and specialty drinks. Their fruit teas are known for being vibrant and refreshing, often topped with real fruit pieces that add texture and flavor. Sweetness can run slightly high depending on what you order, but the customization options help balance it out. We tried the mango and passionfruit fruit teas, which both had a decent, well-rounded flavor and held up well without watering down quickly. Portion sizes are generous, and pricing is reasonable for the area. Overall, Bloome Fruit Tea is a solid option in Allston when you're craving a refreshing drink with bold fruit flavors. It's not overly fancy, but it delivers exactly what you'd expect from a reliable neighborhood bubble tea spot.
