We met a lovely salesperson, Michelle, who appeared to be on her own, and juggling a few customers. She was very kind and apologetic, not wanting us to wait. While we were intent on replacing the hose entirely, Michelle did not try to upsell, and suggested that the beater bar could be replaced. We appreciated her recommendation, but went ahead and purchased a whole new kit. Michelle really took the time to ensure that we were getting the right product. We were so impressed with her service, we decided to also purchase a Dyson. Recognizing that Coburg was a distance away, Michelle spent a great deal of time with us to make sure we were satisfied with the purchases, wanting to prevent any unnecessary returns to the store. We tried to leave her a tip, but she declined, insisting it was not necessary, and simply stating that she really enjoyed meeting us, wishing us well with our transition.

The service person was here for a total of 3 minutes and fixed the problem. I had connected the wires incorrectly. VERY DISAPPOINTED that after spending over $1000.00, Beam Built In (Oshawa) still charged us over $100.00 for the 3 minute repair.

Sadly, over the years we've had some issues with the switch. We've tried to fix it ourselves and we suspected it needed a whole new socket. We attempted to dismantle it to no avail and I had even tried to find somewhere to take it but didn't have much luck at the time. I knew it was going to take forever to find it's equal. It had taken us ages to find this lamp and I was sad to think that it had seen its last days. In one last ditch effort, I searched again for a company that we might be able to take it to... and I found Ajax Lighting. I gave them a call and they said to bring it in. It has a beautiful oil rubbed bronze finish and I'm not going to lie, I was a little worried it would end up getting scratch but a few days later, I had it back and it looks and works perfectly!
