Presentation was nice, service friendly enough, price was relatively (to other chippies) ok. The food itself: chips were soggy, floppy and tasteless. The fish was dry and basically not fresh. There was very little in the way of flakey, moist fish goodness. Caveats: I have just returned from Scotland where the fish is usually amazing. Also, maybe there aren't any other fish and chip shops on the A303. And it is Tuesday. Maybe tuesdays aren't a good day for fresh fish. Either way I won't be returning.
