We definitely saved the best for last. This Costco has a liquor store separated from the main building. It's on the front entrance to the left. So many great deals! We ended up getting tequila, scotch whiskey, red blend wine, and bourbon. All at a great price! The main store is the same set up like the others but this has more to offer. Better selection for electronics, home, furniture and appliances. They offer more samples, more variety of products and clothes. They have a pharmacy, tires, home remodeling, optical and hearing center. Also their food court is always solid. My fiancée and I always have lunch whenever we pay them a visit. We spent a couple of hours and purchased some great deals. What a great experience! I would say this and West Chester locations are my favorite by far.

My parents brought me here because they have a good assortment of University of Kentucky Wildcats merchandise. I just HAD to bring some paper plates, napkins, some sturdy plastic cups and a warm, fuzzy throw - all with the UK logo. They also had a small selection of Dallas Cowboys logo merchandise so I stocked up on some of those items too. A few other sports teams' merchandise is also available - OSU, Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals. Prices were very good. This store is very large and has a bit of a "well-organized garage sale" feel to it. If I lived near one of these, I imagine this would be fun for an hour or so of roaming the aisles to see what unexpected bargains I could find.

But four pair of Hurley shorts for my husband for under $20 each as well as two shirts. I think they were $12 each i'm not sure I'll ever get used to not having bags provided, but I do like their skin as you go service so you don't have to wait in the line. One complaint I do have is the parking lot is a mess and you can never find a place to park no matter what day or what time you go.

After we got what we need, although there is check out sign at the garden center, but it's not in operation. We will need to go back to where we come in. This time, i try to push the button so the door will open automatically. But to my surprise, the button leads to the big garage kind of door moving up. Lowes has a somewhat better selection for items like tile and lighting and it has the best selection in lawn and garden during the Spring planting season. Menards is more oriented toward the needs of construction professionals. Everything that a contractor might need in the way of paint, electrical, plumbing, roofing and lumber is typically in stock. I rehab older houses and these usually involve extensive rewiring and plumbing tasks, so Menards is where I go first for construction materials. Unless you are looking for cheap Chinese made lighting and plumbing fixtures, I don't recommend any of the big three home improvement chains. If you want quality, your best option is to search the internet or visit specialty vendors for items like high end lighting, plumbing fixtures, cabinetry, and granite countertops. But that takes you out of the range of what DIYer can reasonably handle.
