Very quick response rates and saved me a significant amount of money on both home and auto insurance. Highly recommend.

The local agency was one of the best insurance providers I Have worked with. The carrier , nation's general, an Allstate company was mind bendingly awful. The carrier demanded proof of prior coverage even after having provided it. Twice! A full month later, the carrier demanded I send proof of prior insurance again! What the freaking use is that? When I started reading other reviews, it is apparent that the carrier uses this tactic to double or triple the rate. If you have already cancelled your previous insurance, you are in trouble. Fortunately, I had not cancelled my prior policies, because I felt something was wrong, I read other reviews about Goosehead taking forever to process claims, if they even responded! OMG! It took me multiple requests and 4 weeks to get proof of my insurance with the carrier, and then after that they wanted my proof of prior insurance. The 30% savings promised was lost in days and days of chasing the goosehead corporate office. The blame was on the "quality control" department. They failed so badly, there was obviously no quality to control, just rampant inability. I so wish the local agency could get away from such an awful mess of a company RUN AWAY FROM NATIONS GENERAL AND GOOSEHEAD read more

I use Goosehead to purchase home insurance that cost $6325.10 from Orion 180. I live in Florida and have a flat rolled roof. Orion 180 accepted my coverage knowing what type of roof I have, got the full payment than 2 months later canceled my policy stating that they do not cover rolled roofs. Because the policy according to them was active less than 3 months I was charged 20% of the policy earned premium, plus $301.00 fee with no explanation , plus 49.00 cancelation fee plus $86.50 for taxes. I received a check for $4457.85 I believe this was a scam from Goosehead which is not returning emails or calls and Orion 180 as well!!! Be aware do not use either of these companies read more

Terrible experience. I had referred a lot of business to this company over the years, but their service has declined significantly. I received a call claiming they could save me about $70 per month on my car insurance while keeping the same coverage. After switching, they submitted the wrong vin number to the State of Florida, and I was only three days away from having my driver's license suspended for supposedly not carrying insurance. On top of that, they somehow mixed up my email address with another customer's account. I continued receiving signature requests and insurance notifications intended for someone else, which was both frustrating and concerning. It gets worse. When my car broke down, I found out I didn't have roadside assistance like I did under my previous policy. That mistake ended up costing me $550 for a tow. The $70 per month I was supposedly saving disappeared very quickly. The representative who sold me the policy seemed completely unfamiliar with the product and failed to explain important differences in coverage. What was presented as a cost-saving move has ended up costing me far more money and headaches than it was ever worth. I will be switching back immediately. read more

Everything thing This company really blows. No follow up after they sell you the policy. I got a policy for a home in PSL that I was updating. The agent failed to upload my Wind Mitigation forms resulting in a $500 up charge from Tower Insurance - another crappy company. Stir clear of both. read more

They have no follow up, inexperience agents. They charge 3 to 5 times more than other insurance companies.

Zero customer service. No explanation of any process. Once you sign up, you're on your own. AVOID.

Had the unfortunate opportunity to work with this agency for Florida home insurance. All the reviews are spot on. Absolutely would skip, all you will get is frustration and excuses. No reminder on renewals, found out I was underinsured, zero follow up when you call. Recommend going anywhere else for service. At the very least get someone who answers the phone! read more

If you wanna listen to 20 minutes of AI and solicitations and they are perfect for you. If no customer service it was absolutely horrible. I wouldn't suggest them nor did I hire them. read more

Horrible Company!! I delt with some of the worst agents!! Seems like they don't want to do their job!! It's like pulling teeth to get an endorsement on my policy. I've been trying for the past month to get this done. Noone cares, they put you on hold to call the insurance company and it not only takes forever, it does not get done!! They are completly unprofessional and just don't care about the client at all. I even tried to go through my insurance company myself, I had no luck. They told me I have to go through Goosehead which is the worst company I have ever delt with. read more

Urgent 12/31/2023 They lied to me. They are located in miami or fort lauderdale. Thieves. Sold me the wrong Citizens home insurance for a vacant property. Did not either disclose or return the whole amount. do not trust them. Agent called andrea ibanez, email andrea.ibanez@goosehead.com was the one dealing with me. I do not recommend them. Worth less one star. Citizens told me that it was a serious mistake unprofessional. That agent was ready to sell even her mother to get some $. read more

Absolutely terrible experience. I needed Home Owners Insurance to buy my first home. I was very upfront about the age of the house, roof, and HVAC unit, and I got a good deal on insurance. I paid for it all up front. I received a letter in the mail a month later that my insurance was cancelled, due to "an outdated HVAC and Roof" which was dated correctly in my initial submission. The letter said I will be reimbursed by request only. They have been dodging my emails, calls, texts, and contact form requests for a week. My agents name was Jessica Leishman. I would not advise working with her or Goosehead insurance. Contacting the Better Business bureau as well. read more

These people are beyond unproffesional! Do not get this insurance or you will regret It! I bought a home and was insured through them via my lenders recommendation when looking for something on a budget. We agreed and did a policy and closed on the house. only to receive 2 months late a mail from citizens with my money back. confused i called citizens which they mentioned jose lander from goosehead had cancelled my policy. without any reason or motive or even given a call at any point was i aware of this. I callee goosehead and jose lander was ignoring all my calls purposely. I texted his number given to me by one of the reps and he responds quickly until realizing who i was and stops answering me. I was shook!! How is this service posible??? I reached out to my initial agent julian manes to see what the heck happened, after being also ignored for days by him he finally gets back to me with some sob story and excuses and apologizing for their mistake. They sent the papers to sign to the wrong email and never followed up so they cancelled my policy without even reaching out. to make it right he tries to reinstate this causing price to go up higher due to the time thats gone by ( mind you this time having gone by is THEIR FAULT) then to " reinstate" this policy they kept ignoring me for weeks. With no paper work being sent again and i am risking penalties for having a home without insurance. I got fed up and told julian i no longer wanted this policy and i got insured elsewhere. & i then started receiving tons of emails to sign their papers, and i asked them i dont want to sign anythin. i am not interested in any policy with Them and to leave me alone. & i receive papers of an active policy. they did a policy without my consent and now i have 2 policies for my home. after non stop calling and texting julian, he spent 15 mins yapping and studdering on the phone trying to come with excuses on how sorry he felt for this experience and continues to include that " he also has personal problems " ... this has been a horrendous experience. STAY AWAY FROM GOOSEHEAD! read more

Pure incompetence at its finest. I was told I did everything I needed then received a cancellation notice in the mail that my home and auto insurance had been cancelled 3 weeks prior. Tried contacting my agent and they ghosted me. Thankfully I was able to get refunded by the provider otherwise I would have been SOL. read more

They assigned agent will not call or email you back once your business with her has been sealed. It is hard to get a hold of them. They will not cancel my policy with them. They told me I will get a cancelation fee even If the whole year is completed. The double billed my mortgage company, which was a nightmare to get back. They are unprofessional and only care about getting off the phone with you asap. read more
