We had a flat while driving to NC on vacation. We needed a new tire. Service was excellent but the price was high.

A few days ago I called in to see if they'd gotten the part and to see if anything cheaper was found they told me they were working on the car already but couldn't get the part any cheaper. Okay no problem. Today I call again because they are only replacing two hoses and I'm confused as to why I haven't been called back in regards to picking up my vehicle. The receptionist was rude from the second she picked up the phone. Very nasty attitude as if I'm calling her personal phone on her day off ?? Was she not hired to answer the phone and answer customer questions? I'm confused. Then I'm being told they just got the part in today and they will start working on it today. If the part wasn't in and more time was needed that is fine, what choice do I have besides to wait for the repair ? Honesty would have been appreciated so that I can plan ahead for work and getting to school... I'm under the impression that my car would have been ready by today. telling me the car is being worked on when the part is not even in their shop is not a good business practice. I will not be spending my money with a deceiving company with rude staff there's too many other reputable auto shops in the area to settle for this disrespectful nonsense that

Next thing, they told me they'd have to replace the wheel assembly. Next thing, they told me they had broken off a bolt in the axle & I needed a new axle. Next thing, they told me it was not drivable. Then the price doubled because they had priced the axle wrong. Next thing, I got cranky & pissed them off. Suddenly, it was drivable and I should come pick it up. Oh, and by the way, it would be $100 for their trouble. I pissed them off some more & they told me to come get it & never darken their door again. I said no problem there! Just by dumb luck & some fairy godmother looking out for me, I picked these guys off of Yelp. Called, told them my story. They said you bet, bring 'er in! They looked it over, sent me photos of what they found, along with calls and descriptions and answers to my questions. Turns out, no broken bolt. No need for an axle. They communicated with me about every step. Sent pictures. Were pleasant, straightforward and gave alternatives when appropriate. They gave me rides to/from home and I didn't even have to ask! They offered! Amazing!!! They pulled the fat out of the fire for me and I am soooo incredibly, over the top, off the charts THRILLED to have blindly stumbled into a nest of bright, honest, honorable people who actually seem to give a damn about their customers & the reputation of their business! Can't thank them enough! As long as they are open, they have my business & my praise for everything they have done!
