I have taken my Explorer there two times now for service. Both times something has gone wrong. Both…read moretimes were for a simple oil change and rotation. The 1st time I took it in, they told me it would only take about 30 mins. I was in the waiting room for over an hour and 15 min. I asked once why it was taking so long and was told they were just running a bit behind. So I decided to walk outside to get some air, my car was sitting outside waiting to be picked up. When I went back in to ask about it, they said "oh, nobody came and told you it was done, that one has been finished for about 30 minutes." Like I mentioned, I just asked about it a couple minutes prior and was told they were behind. When I asked they about it they said they must have told the wrong person. Well, I was the only person in the waiting room. So who exactly did they tell? The second time I went was for the same thing. I called a week ahead of time to schedule the appointment. After I hung up called back about 20 minutes later to ask a question. The person that answered the phone asked for my name and time of appointment. When I told him, he said I did not have an appointment in the system. He said that the person I spoke to must not have put into the system. He said he was putting it in as we were speaking. Well, a week later when I showed up for the appointment, guess what.....no appointment was in the system. The person that assured me he was putting in my appointment "as we speak" apparently did not! So twice within the same hour I made an appointment and twice in that same hour it was never typed into their system. They graciously said they could fit me since I want was there....the work they did was fine, but like I mentioned it was just a simple oil change and rotation. Just plan on the run around trying to get it done!

They apparently dropped the tool needed for my car in another trucks engine bay and instead of getting it out had to order another one . Fine... so I tried to drive there around 6pm to see if they had it. I waited ten minutes. No one came out . Lights were in, mechanics bays open. I tried calling 50+ times to check if they had it. Clearly they don't want to make money. I know they have messed up other peoples engines before so maybe this was a sign not to go here.

Well it started to put the tires on my rims and the guy that was working there told me at least three times that they have went through four mechanics helpers in the past month as if I cared. I don't know which one done it I figured both but they end up rounding off too of my lug nuts this was going to be a repair that I would have to do to fix it so after they got the wheels back on he informed me that two of the lug nuts would have to be replaced. Okay I went home I ordered a set of lug nuts waiting for them to come through mail and today I was going to replace the ones that were rounded off. To my surprise two of the studs on my front wheels the threads are really messed up and the lug nut will not go on there. This is about a $250 damage done to my truck for a mechanic to fix those two studs. I would not recommend quick tire to nobody stay away from this place that will mess your wheels up.

But unlike the other Goodyear locations, they do what they say they'll do when they say they'll do it. They are knowledgeable, courteous, and professional, and I never feel taken advantage of. They never talk down to me and have never tried to sell me a service I didn't know I needed. Today, for instance, I took my late model Volvo in for an oil change and because of some odd performance issues I was concerned about. They changed my oil, did an inspection, and drove it around and found nothing out of the ordinary. They identified the issue I was experiencing, explained what it was, and that it's just evidence of my aging vehicle and nothing to worry about. They could have sold me something and I'd have believed them, but once again I'm checking out paying less than I thought I would. It's now the only place I'll take this car.
