I have used them in the past, but now HOLD ON TO YOUR WALLET!. Once they get you in there they up sell you on everything. A simple oil change can end up costing you around $500 after they find numerous things wrong with your vehicle. driving around last week and the silver truck was a little drifty, a little pully, and a little noisy like my tires are shredding... so I thought maybe I should get the alignment checked and here I was. about five minutes later it's up on the rack and when I'm about five minutes into a cup o' freshly podded coffee the dude comes out and says both tie rod ends and a wheel bearing are "amazing". I knew about the bearing already so we go out for a look see so I can see and what I see is about an inch and a half of wheel floppage. AMAZING! plus OUCH! took it home to save a few dollars and six days later I'm waiting on the alignment.... (insert emoji of heels cooling with fresh coffee and free wi-fi but no danish) had a 9:00 appointment but got started a little late because, well, you know... plumbing and other stuff happens. end of the day is almost all good (have a bolt in the rear suspension that needs to get worked out (tracking is off by an unnoticeable-while-driving-but-measurable-on-the-rack bit) but they'll re-shoot in a couple few weeks after I finish the recommended course of dinking around with it) still less than an hour in and out and there I went... read more

Don't go here! Michael the store manager was extremely rude and unapologetic. Said I could call to complain to corporate if I wanted. This facility could not correctly provide a wheel alignment. Avoid this place at all costs. Came in for a brake job, knew that I probably needed new rotors or at least needed them resurfaced and I walked away spending $1000. They took my rear brake drums off and SMASHED one of them, and then told me I had to get them replaced. They basically admitted to my stepfather that they used a hammer to remove the drum and broke it, but they did it because it needed to be replaced... but that is BS considering my other drum was perfectly fine aside from needing to be cleaned, possibly resurfaced. Thank god I asked for the pieces to take home because they look terrible! Proof that they totally mishandled my vehicle. Yes my wheel cylinder was leaking but it did not make it so that the drum didn't function. I have not seen a cent of a refund. These men are a bunch of crooks that took advantage of me. I typically take my car to the dealership; but if I need something done quickly and conveniently I come to this Goodyear. The service is great. The staff is very friendly and they have free wifi. Usually, I drop my car off and walk next door to a Starbucks. They are located in Afton Ridge Shopping center, so its easy to get your car serviced and grab a bite to eat or do a lil shopping while you wait. There is a best buy, Marshall's and target in the shopping complex. There is also a Buffalo Wild Wings, an Asian cafe that does good sushi and a great nail salon is this shopping center. Sometimes I'll get a mani pedi at Viva Nails and grab a bento box from the asain cafe while I wait for my car. I love it! I've always been pleased with the work they've done on my car. I have purchased tires, got an oil change and had my tires rotated. So far, so good!! read more

Wow this place is really coming up ... They did an alignment on my Pontiac, where the back bolts (controlling the rear toe) were stuck ... Which the alignment I had, last week at Ben Mynatt Buick-GMC Service {which I thought was pretty good, because the front was straightened} was done incomplete ... They didn't even do the rear toe, at all .. I've been STILL driving it (all weekend) out of spec. Ironically, because I had nicked a pothole, at night driving, I went back there to ask for an alignment again - But it didn't happen because of a disagreement between me and the management (Really they had a temper tantrum at me, because of some shoddy work I called them out for, five weeks ago) -- Goodyear, and their excellent techs Mike and Darrell heated the bolts up, expanded them to finally move them - so they were able to align the back of the car. My car rolls good, and I am really thankful to them. .. 5 stars It is slightly far to drive but I know they will be well worth it. read more

Bought a trailer with goodyear tires. The tires had factory defects (bulging on the sidewalls) even the spare tire that had never been on the road had the same bulging sidewalls. The guy at the Concord location said it was damage from a pothole or hitting a curb and would not replace it under warranty. Plus he said I had to bring it in within 30 days of purchasing the trailer to make a claim. False.. The warranty clearly says you have up to one year or 2/32 wear. I took them to the goodyear branch in Salisbury where the guys took the tires off the rim and showed me where it was excessive overlayment FROM THE FACTORY. So he made a call and I got my defective tires replaced. Don't let the clowns at the Concord branch mislead you. Get a second opinion. Mike in Salisbury is awesome!. I've never left a review before but I thought it was fitting. I am a Goodyear account holder and recently had some issues with the folks at the concord mills location. I looked for another store and found this location. I came in closer to the end of the day and received great service from Garry at the front desk. He took me to the side and made sure I purchased what was needed for my vehicle and actually seemed to be concerned that I saved money and was also satisfied. I had this location install 4 new Goodyear tires and complete a 4 wheel alignment. The store manager (Mike) was very helpful and informative. I dropped my car off early and gave them plenty of time to do their work without being rushed and it was done before lunchtime. Drives straight as an arrow and is much smoother and quieter with the new tires. Would definitely recommend and will be going here in the future. One tip for anyone using any mechanic.. give them time and don't rush them. Unforeseen problems can arise (rusted bolt for example) that can throw their estimated time out the window. There are tons of shops and restaurants within walking distance (and free WiFi inside) if you can't drop your car off. A+ read more

Had a 9 am appointment to do my NC inspection. Showed up at 5 til 9 and did the paperwork. He says they'll get it done as quickly as they can. When I ask for a time estimate (only need the safety inspection and not emissions) and only then he tells me the inspector doesn't get in until 10. Why schedule a 9 am appointment then?? So he says probably around 10:30. We go next door to get coffee and decide we don't want to wait that long. I walk back to tell him we are going to have to reschedule and he tells me the inspector is there, but is working on another car from an 8 am appointment. What?? So you lied to me 15 minutes ago? Suddenly the inspector will be able to get to my car in 5-10 minutes. So they get my car and they get it done in 30-40 minutes. I just can't get past him blatantly lying to me and only coming clean once I was going to leave. read more

Worst experience in getting my car inspected. My car came with factory tinting. The guy told me the tinting was illegal and I had to pay extra to get it inspected. Are you kidding me? When I called later in the workday they insisted they had called and my voicemail box wasn't set up when it was. When I brought it to their attention a man named Chris was quite rude and acted as if it was the customers fault when I asked why they did not try to call the number again. Driving in from out of the area, I had car trouble and had to get my car towed. Originally, it looked like I would have to pay $100 just to get it looked at, but in the end, they didn't charge me anything for diagnostics and didn't try to sell me anything extra. Was very disappointed today with the customer service. I purchased my tires here last year. I ended up with a nail in my tire the other day so on my lunch I had to swing by cause my schedule is packed. And I don't need to be driving on it much longer. He informed me it would be an hour and a half before someone could look at it he had one guy working. What tire business has one guy working? Granted it was lunch time but I explained this was my only real opportunity to come get this looked at. I was told to come back at 4. I have an appointment at 4 I told him. He didn't seem to be too concerned so I told him I would just keep driving on it then. He just shrugged his shoulders. Yeah last time I purchase tires or any service from them. 1 / 5 stars, before I figured out it's best for a man to deal with guys other than George. The Manager Josh is great, and Mike is great ... but George is awful. - He was excellent, when he first took over .. last year. They did a coolant change, on my car ... The tech did a mistake, at the end, and didn't tighten my coolant cap, properly ... Couple days later when I brought my car back, George took responsibility ... Had a guy tighten it, properly ... And even threw in a new radiator cap. This is was good. The problem is, the longer you're a customer (and a guy - more on that at the end) and you're not buying tires, George changes. Fast forward to this year - I had a crappy alignment done, on my Pontiac Firebird ... George insisted it was a tire pull, when I brought it back (an hour later) ... He refused to get it up on the rack and look at it. I ended up going to Goodyear Concord Mills location; and they aligned it, perfectly. Car drove arrow-straight. Prior to that, this store (under George's watch) did three repairs, one day ... Two came out alright, but the other repair - a new pinion seal in the back, to stop a rear differential leak - turned out to not have been done right. I had a GM dealership do it right, three months later. In both these situations George did no inspection of work .. was the thing. With the alignment, George said to me "The alignment's done with a machine -- the machine has no ego, like a tech, sir - It doesn't make mistakes." ... Here's the thing - I've never seen him be belligerent and argumentative, to a female ... Even when a female's taken a car back, for redress. He does what they ask. This is a fact, because I've observed it. There's nothing personal ... It's just a really strange thing, with this manager. He is argumentative with men. Mike is excellent ... Joe is pretty good, too, to deal with. - Some version of this team is there Sundays, and Wednesdays. read more

Based on the good reviews here, I decided to stop by for oil change. I showed up at 6:10, with most of the bays empty, After seeing that they close at 7 o'clock. I approach the sales counter, and waited several minutes for the woman to finish her text messaging, and asked if it was possible to do so. She gave me a very unsympathetic look and said no that it would require an appointment. I then asked her if she could possibly assist or have one of her coworkers assist with swapping out a headlamp I was having problems with, so I wouldn't have to drive home with a headlight out and she gave me some BS answer about it taking too long because a battery had to be removed. Instead of arguing, I just told her thanks for nothing and I will take my business elsewhere. I could understand if the place was incredibly busy, but they were ample employees around chatting. I have tried to use these guys for my 6 cars, NC State inspections and routine maintenance. Every time I bring a car, several are collector, they find something wrong with the car. Light bulbs out, but there is a dash board indicator that shows a bulb out, which was not on. A bulb replacement is $ 13. My 85 year old father visiting for Christmas from Florida was charged $376 for a faulty thermostat change on an 08 Saturn Vue 4 Cylinder. That is a $20 part retail. Their price $44. 1 gallon coolant their price $24.95... $ 12 retail. All the rest labor. This is an easy simple job . I tried them for bmw front alignment. Car was pulling right...after they were done it pulled left. This a new Bmw that hit a pothole. Should not be a problem. 2013 VW diesel Passat inspection is a safety only...$13.Emission test not required...they attempted to charge $30, the price for safety and emission check. The unknowing customer would have been over charged. Preying on elderly and unsavvy car owners is despicable. NEVER bring your car to these thieves. I tried to use them as the neighborhood mechanic, they obviously do not want that role. I have more examples but do not want to waste anymore time on this. read more
