As many other reviewers have stated, these people are the absolute definition of crooked mechanics. I had read the many reviews and was reluctant to come here but had no choice; I had no intention of having any serious work done but I figured surely I was safe just getting my oil changed. The first two or three times it seemed OK...of course they ALWAYS pull the crap about trying to sell you expensive repairs you don't need but I just say no, just do the oil change. Today I asked them to also replace a brake light that was out. The bulb costs exactly $9 at Auto Zone and replacement literally takes 2 minutes. These low-lives charged me $80 for the brake light. I have had this done at many places over the years and know what it should cost. For convenience and to save time I just asked them to fix it rather than doing it myself because every even slightly honest shop will do this for a regular customer at a reasonable price. They have lost my business forever over this. I have gotten all my oil changes there, gotten an alignment, bought 4 new tires from them, and this is how they treat a loyal customer. I will of course be disputing the charge through Discover, and doing my level best to spread the word online and verbally about their complete dishonesty. The guy at the desk knows perfectly well I wouldn't have agreed to paying $80 for a brake light; that's why they never mentioned beforehand what they would charge. Please, take to heart the lesson I should have learned from reading the other reviews, namely that when the reviews are consistently awful you should go nowhere near that business. read more

I called to make an appointment and got put on hold. The hold message advertised an oil change for $21.99 until the end of June. First off, when I spoke to Steve on the phone, he told me he had no idea about that special and could not offer me that deal. So I did actually make an appointment anyways, just because it needed to be done. Then later, I went on line because I was still curious about the offer presented on the phone hold message. Sure enough, I was able to book an appointment for an oil change for $21.99, so I did and promptly canceled the other appointment. The day and time comes to take my car for my appointment and when I get there they tell me they don't know what deal I'm talking about. Luckily, I had taken a screenshot of my appointment details that included the $21.99 deal for an oil change and was able to show the guy. Now, I don't know if it was because I'm a girl, but even when I go to pay for my oil change, he STILL wanted to charge me $35!!!! I was about to swipe my card and luckily noticed the $10+ difference and said something to him! Not to mention, they wanted to charge me $35+ for an AIR FILTER!!!! Seriously!?? So FINALLY after FIGHTING to get the OFFERED RATE, I paid for what I heard about on the prerecorded corporate advertisement and the online rate and got the F out of there!!! These are the folks that give mechanics a bad name. Had an A/C clutch go bad on my truck and took it to them to be replaced. They told me that it would be necessary to replace the A/C Compressor. Took my truck back home, bought a rebuilt Ford A/C clutch from Amazon and installed it myself for a small fraction of what they were wanting to charge for un-needed parts and labor. I had spent a lot of money with them in the past but now, and in the future, they'll get none. read more

We needed to have an air compressor replaced on our SUV before a trip. The staff got the part quickly and finished the repair in time. We priced the same work at the dealership in Newnan and found Goodyear to be several $100 less expensive. We were also prepared for the 2 day turn around since it's an intensive repair on our model of vehicle. So nice to not have to make a trip to Newnan and arrange transportation back and forth! I was told by their staff that the puncture in my tire was on the sidewall and could not be patched. Their only solution was to buy one of their tires, costing well over $200. So I went to a family used tire shop for a cheaper alternative. They asked me why I wanted to get rid of my tire, and that they could just patch it. $20. I've been driving on that tire for over a year now. Went back and tried to talk to them about it but didn't get very far. Employee was on the phone and was not very interested. THE WORST EXPERINCE POSSIBLE. Let's recap all the event, I called on a Monday and was greeted by a fella named Jerry, I verify with Jerry that a specific set of tires that I was looking for purchase were indeed available. Jerry was able to confirm the tires and was able to set me an appointment for 1pm the following day. I proceeded with purchasing said tires with the expectations of having them installed the following day for the set appointment. On the following day I made a call to them to see if they by chance had any earlier availability of which they told me they did not, so I proceeded to wait till my appointment at 1pm. upon arriving to the store I proceeded to the counter of which then I was greeted with Steve (service floor manager). I informed Steve I was there for my 1pm appointment. Steve immediately started to inform me that his store manager was in the hospital, and he was unable to get any information regarding my bought tires due to the information being in the store manager's e-mail. I stated that why was no one able to call me and inform me before my appointment that I was unable to get the tires installed due to management issues. No one called me or told me anything when I called the morning of the appointment. I expressed my concerns to Steve and asked what he could do for me to help my situation so I did not waste my time, Steve insisted he could not do anything; however, I did not believe Steve because his demeanor started to change rapidly. His customer service skills were very poor, his attitude got the best of him, and finally with an attitude was able to contact the store manager to receive the proper paperwork of which I had a copy off and insisted to providing my copy, but he refused. After some time, I he obtained the paperwork identical to what I was able to provide, and we proceeded to installation. There bay crew pulled my car into the bay, they lifted the car up and removed all 4 wheels. After removing all 4 wheels, they removed the tires from the wheels. After having all the tires removed from the wheels that they removed from my car they proceeded to inform me that the tires I had purchased where not in stock after all. I was extremely upset by now because of Steve's poor customer service upon arrival and now informing me of their improper method of verify that the tires were in fact in stock or not. At this point Steve's attitude got the better of him and he proceeded to become even more nasty with his words, and body language, that at a few points swooshes me away as if I was a dog. I called their customer service line (1-800-321-2136) and reported the whole incident from when I arrived to getting informed my tires I purchased where indeed not in stock. I was beyond done with the company at this point due to their extremely poor customer service skills from Steve and lack of proper information regarding the tires. I spent a total of 1 and half hours there just to have my original tires placed back on the wheels and on my car. Steve then proceeded to refused to assist me because the number I called contacted them regarding the issue. The customer service number I called informed me of the district managers name (Mr. Kevin Walden) and a claim number, they stated Mr. Walden would reach out to me however no one has contacted me regarding this issue. I specifically choose this good year center because I have had great prior experiences, however this was several year ago. I do wish this center would properly train their staff to be adequate to work in the positions they are assigned. If a manager, they should not treat the customer with such poor quality and provide even less service center quality. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless they wish to experience horrible customer service skills. read more

I took my car to Goodyear for an oil/filter change and a 'maintenance inspection'. And guess what? The car is much worse now. They made it worse on purpose so that I go back there and 'fix' what's 'wrong' with the car (i.e., pay a lot of money). That's quite dishonest. The website suggests that this location is open until 7:00 on Saturdays. I took my car in for an oil change around 4:30, was told that they wouldn't be able to do it until "5:30 or 6:00" - the sign on the front door states that they close at 6:00. Confused, I asked how long it takes and he told me it takes about 30 minutes... He took my name and number and told me he would call around 5:30 when they could do it. I waited, showed up at 5:30 and couldn't even park in their tiny lot because every space was taken, they were quite busy. I left and came back after never receiving a call and was told that I was twenty minutes late and that it couldn't be done... Thanks for nothing, GoodYear. These guys are "brand-name" bad service. My review is based off their customer service. I came in for a tire rotation and their customer service was awful. The front desk guy was not pleasant to work with- maybe he had a bad day or something but it was unprofessional. I have been to other Goodyear Tires but this one does not offer the same customer service as experience as the others. read more

Avoid this place unless you want their careless technicians mistakes to cost you more money. Went in for an oil change today, which took an hour and a half for some reason (not very busy at all). Got back home, then went to leave about an hour later and noticed a huge puddle in my garage when backing out. I stopped the car, got out and found all my coolant in a big puddle. Popped the hood and it turns out, the tech forgot to put my radiator reservoir cap back on after doing his "complimentary" vehicle inspection. Now I have to spend an additional $20 for the gallon of coolant on top of the price for the oil change. Gee, thanks a lot Goodyear! Never again!!! read more

Service was really friendly and they got me in and out quick. I needed my tires balanced because the steering wheel was vibrating a little at higher speeds. After the balance, the shake is gone. Sammy was very good to do business with. read more

Went to this business for an oil change, and tire rotate. When finished I was approached by I assume, the shop manager. I was informed there was NO coolant in my system. "Blown intake gaskets". Wow!! If that was the case, the motor should be seized, and all of the valves bent. Never has run hot, and never leaks. A second opinion proved them wrong. I was about to be swindled out of $530.00. There was a nail in my tire, and I was told the tire couldn't be patched or salvaged. Another tire shop found the nail went into the tread sideways. Not even any air leakage. Avoid this place like the plague. read more
