Not the best but I've seen worse. I've visited this particular Goodwill on and off for over twenty years. It's right off of Maple Ave so it's easy to find. There's a parking lot out front, to the left is a drive-thru for dropping off donations and to the right you'll find the entrance. Everything is organized as all other Goodwills are... mens, womens, childrens, furniture, books, shoes, kitchen, home, and maybe a few other things. The quality of items you find here aren't the best. Goodwill items generally represent the town they are in and this one is much different than one in a bigger city. It's what you would expect in a more rural area with limited shopping. On my last trip I did find a nice and practically brand new Sublime tee. In the past I've had some luck scoring some sweet items. You definitely need to hunt to find cool finds, but it's possible! read more

Prices are extremely high, over retail in many instances. I found a tiny spool of ribbon that was perfect for a project I was working on. The manager refused to sell it because it didn't have a price. Threw into a cart to "return to production" and walked away from me without any further conversation. Rude. read more

I have lived here 50 years. We have the worst Goodwill compared to other cities The good items people donate get shipped off to other Goodwills. I don't understand why they do this. When you drive thru and drop off your donations, you can see all kinds of great stuff that people in our town have donated. But this stuff is never put out in our store. The things sold in ours is mostly just clothes. They have a bunch of Walmart returned damaged items that are way overpriced. They are priced higher than they were originally at Walmart. They closed off the garage where they used to have furniture and some other cool stuff. I used to be able to purchase things like robots and old electronics for my autistic son. They have nothing like that now. I like to take old outdated decor and make it into something more. But they don't have anything like that either. They removed all their donation houses that were placed in different parts of the city. It made it convenient to leave donations at anytime. But now they're all gone. They make it difficult to donate. Especially if you work all day and can't make it during their times. Or if you live far from Maple Ave. You're not allowed to leave donations at the garage doors when they're closed. They have cameras and warning signs. If you're sensitive to smells then you might want to where a mask. Not only do the items smell, but the people do to. It's not a friendly place. Most of the employees are rude. The only exception are the couple of handicapped employees that are very pleasant. They rarely sell anything decent inside. The good items are placed on their online auction. You can sometimes find good deals. But they do use bots on this site that will keep outbidding you. It should be illegal for them to do this. You're also stuck with paying for shipping. You didn't have to worry about this shopping in the store. Plus the people who put up the postings don't even know what they're selling. So you have to use basic words when looking for something you want. read more

This goodwill on Maple Ave in Zanesville ohio was always a favorite of mine for over 20 years. I would tell everyone I knew to go to it prices on clothes was amazing and the would have specials almost everyday. My favorite was stuff a rather large bag for $10!! Then their prices went up and up!! Finally the did the ultimate and started pricing things by namebrand!! They don't sort by suze but by color which is just stupid I mean come on who shops by color!!!! The prices are so high now. It's mostly all clothes they have changed. So I went in and used a loyalty card they gave me they said sorry we don't take these anymore . Then I told him I was a senior, then I was told they don't do that anymore. I ask why he told me they're like a retail store now, like Kohl's or Walmart . I have actually found things in there priced higher than the tag that was on them from the store they came from. People donate things there because they think they're going to be sold cheaper for people that really need it clothing at us lower price . They get everything free our community gives very well and again I don't know where half the stuff that's donated even goes in that store it usually doesn't get out the good stuff . Overall I would say skip this Goodwill because it's just not what it should be. I do not go to it anymore. I can't believe you've done away with the plus size section!!! it is so tough to have to look through all the clothes. which I refused to do. I have been to 2 different stores and this is absolutely not acceptable. The employees offered to help me but they have their own things to do. One worker said they get yelled at by many customers. That is a shame!!! I thanked the ladies and one was teary eyed because she "isn't used to people being nice". Seriously PLEASE reconsider. read more

I'll still never get over how overpriced this Goodwill is. All UPC codes are crossed out for good reason. One look up of the UPC will show the item is priced slightly lower than MSRP. You can go on eBay and get the same item for less with shipping. read more

Not only is this place RIDICULOUSLY overpriced ($19 for a salvage new non regulation size football in January), the management is pleased that they are. The cashier seemed shocked when one of the prices was pointed out. She then checked with the manager who replied, "it's priced what it's price is". A serious disappointment that I won't be repeating. read more
