And they have amazing prices compared to other thrift stores. I ended up purchasing 4 things - a dresser, two chairs, and a coat 'tree'. An employee walks with you, marks what you want to buy, then checks you out. They will then help you load big pieces. Shout out to Seth & Wayne for being an amazing help to us on a busy weekend.

But lately, I don't know who's…read morepricing items, but their costs have gone WAY up ($100 for a small, used, unlit Christmas tree?) and many collectible items are as expensive or more expensive than they are on EBay. Identical items with sometimes have a $25 price difference (the Kincade villages, some china etc). I don't think it's worth going to that part of Morse road unless they fix the price problem.

I prefer their mission over Goodwill and have been thrifting and donating at these stores for years. I thought this location would have more but it was good. I didn't find any must haves so just dropped off my donations and picked up a tax/donation certificate. I always encourage donating over trashing, plus it's a good cause. Spoke with two employees during my stop and both were friendly and helpful. It's a thrift store so decent prices. Some better than other items. I definitely recommend this store but there are several around central Ohio. Health, Housing, and Human Services is what the do and proceeds from the stores and donations help support the cause. TC Thrift is my family's go-to place when we need to donate household furnishings, clothing and electronics items no longer needed. The thrifts staff are great with helping to unload donation and kind to offer tax receipts too. The store is always worth the visit to pickup items needed around the house. Through observation and listening to the accounts of how peoples lives are positively impacted by TC Thrifts sales proceeds my children have gained appreciation for giving -vs- selling their items online. Frequently TC Thrift as a family has contributed to the further development of generosity in my childrens lives.

The store is laid out flawlessly. Each display flows seamlessly into the next and before you know it you've reached the end. Our hostess was a delight to talk to and answered all of our questions. We picked up a few values but in this atmosphere, it's hard to find a lot of bargains. A welcome touch is their variety of hand and body lotions and the wonderful array of chocolates. I know it's slated to close one day as the building owner was looking to sell and force this adorable little shop OOB. Maybe a change of heart has kept it alive? There are some surprisingly great deals if you know what you're doing. The key to this boutique is atmosphere. It's so cozy and cliché that it's inviting. There's an endearing selection of pieces whose only limit is due to the size of the shoppe. The proprietor is such a lovely lady. I could spend hours listening to her. Really knows her community's history. We only found a few little things on this day, but hope to return with a better idea of what we can use. First off, the facts. Every month starting in June the Aladdin Shrine Center off Stelzer (near Easton Mall) hosts a "GO-TO monthly market of local, vintage, antiques, upcycled" etc, etc vendors in their main stage area. June 22, July 13, Aug 23, Sept 13 and Oct 19 (thus far.) For me it was too flea market and not enough antique market. The handmade and upcycled items were nice, but there was too much of it. Food truckers were outside in the side parking lot, which was nice: Mojo Tago, Red Snapper Mobile, Mai Chau, and My Place or Yours. Seating for eating was available inside. There was also a bar. Yep, a bar-beer and liquor. They actually had $2 CBC IPA pints. Uh, yeah, keep them coming. Not because I love it so but needed some liquid courage to keep going. The advertised "live music" was a DJ on the stage "turning" hits from 60's, 70s and 80s...."Bartender, two more pints please!" But when I have to pay admission for something like this, I expect that at minimum the place that was rented out will be full. That was not the case. The first show I went to was maybe 70% full and while there were different vendors from primitive to upcycled to tables made from reclaimed wood (awesome!) to a guy selling bones and creepy items, it somehow felt like it was not worth the price of admission. Okay, so maybe the first show was new and it needed to find its groove so I'll give it another chance. Well, there were *fewer* vendors at the next show and they added tables for people to sit down and have drinks or eat to make it appear like more space was filled. I don't know that I can justify shelling out admission again if the place isn't at capacity. I might go to the last one since it'll be closer to the start of holiday shopping and hope more people have signed up by then before I make my final decision. I am glad to see the opportunity for something like this in town though but I hope it picks up a little steam especially when you have something like the Scott Antiques Market that rolls around and is free admission and 4-5x the size.
