As you walk in, it looks like a standard thrift store, however there is a specific kids section that is within a separate room. You made it really nice to look for shoes, toys and other kiddo necessities. Decent size store with the expected amount of stuff you don't need sprinkled with a few things that look interesting. They had a pretty extensive section of Americana type stuff, as it was the Fourth of July. I would imagine they do a good job of Having specific paraphernalia for just about every major holiday. The folks working here are perpetually friendly, and it's not quite as busy as Goodwill down the street. It made it a lot easier to navigate with a little dudes! End of the day, this is a great spot to find some good shoes and clothing for playing outside and to boot we got a deal!

Thrift stores have always been a good way for me to find books, record albums and clothes. I have also found some household items that were reasonably priced. Lately I have found that the clothes prices are outrageous. There were used t-shirts that I could buy new, for less. Same brand, by the way. No albums at all. Canning jars that I could buy a case for less than they had them priced for. And grouping books in packs. Thats great, I would have to buy 10 books for approximately $12.00 instead of the ones I needed and wanted. So, my Mother and I, left without purchasing a thing. It's unfortunate that a thrift store has become so much like the major department store that it's "used" items have become so out of reach for those who cannot afford to buy "new".

A pullet is a the middle stage between chick and chicken. I called and had a hard time getting the saleswoman to say whether or not they carried certain kinds, despite the fact that their website said they did. Finally she directed me to the man in charge, and he told me they had the pullets I wanted. Only after asking exactly how old they were did I find out they were a little over two weeks old, but "very hardy". Of course they weren't hardy enough to put outside in the coop yet, but he was willing to call them pullets and say they were really hardy, just not hardy enough to be outside or without a heat lamp! That's not hardy, by the way. The second time I tried to buy something from them was when I wanted to make a fence using hardware cloth to protect my garden from gophers. They were unable to sell me the size and length I needed, and didn't offer to order it for me. I said I would look on Amazon and they said OK and hung up. Why don't farm stores sell things farmers need in Yakima? Why is Amazon the only place you can find things like basic fencing or decent chicken feed? Why don't any stores like this sell actual pullets instead of just chicks? Did you know not everyone that has a chicken coop outside has a place to raise chicks inside?

I was over at the license business, and noticed your store. I had no way to bring them down so my wife called and arranged a van for transport and we were so happy to know that someone can enjoy them, who might not been able to afford them at other stores. So we were overjoyed to help some others to have a recliner! Also the gentleman who helped my wife on the phone was courteous and very helpful. Thanks for the kind help! We will be donating again.

What we found was a very solid Habitat for Humanity restore with some very nice employees. For those who haven't been in a restore before, it's exactly that. A thrift store for household goods. Many of the items are a little on the dated side, but retro is certainly in and there's enough good stuff among the piles. My better half has more than once stopped in to get Barnwood or reclaimed wood for building signs and other pleasantries around our place. Here, they've got plenty of reclaimed doors, A good selection of lighting and just about anything else you need for projects around the home. The proceeds go to Habitat for Humanity and it's nice that things stay within the community. They're open Wednesday through Saturday here 9 to 5 and accept donations Monday through Saturday 9 to 5. The donation area is around back and it's worthwhile to call before hand just to make sure somebody's around. They also schedule pick up at your home for larger items, which is nice! Well worth checking out and note that while the address is on Mead, it's about two blocks off of the main road alongside a warehouse. It feels like Google maps is taking you to some dark alley, but don't worry it's a dark alley with a Habitat for Humanity restore at the end!

Why did me and my bestie have a PILE of clothes on the register. Shoes, earrings, purses (3), shoes, pants, dresses and more. This is when I stopped and said why have I not heard about this place many many times before? I was in awww and can't believe that we stumbled upon this. No one in Yakima has even shared this spot with me. Which is fine, more for me now!! Lets go back to the pricing, the system is wild, and they have really good stuff for the prices their selling it for. They have swim, tank tops, sweaters, decorations, office supplies, I mean literally everything. I was sooo happy to have found this gem. My bestie and i walked away spending less than $100 bucks (and I got over 22 items). I also re sale items soooo some items are not for me, which I know people are going to eat UP - I scored. Between the both of is, we got five pairs of shoes. I will be taking my items to this store when I come back into town next month for another day of shopping!!! The bubble gum blazer (linen), vintage and ohhh so cute. The vintage vibrant green sweater with 3 gold buttons sooooo cute! If you're looking for gems, this is it!! Oh yah the address changes and its in route to be updated, but its down the street from the old location, off of Richey. Good luck and happy shopping.
